Lakers can trade 2 picks now I believe…2027 and 2029. And there’s no chance LA would give up AD in a Kyrie trade. The Lakers are the only team that wants Kyrie. Nets don’t have leverage other than just forcing Kyrie to opt out.
Depends if Lebron still believes in him. But maybe it isn't in a Kyrie deal, for the reasons you mention. But maybe in another deal.

How crazy would it be for the Lakers to figure out a way to get Kyrie to sign for the TPMLE and trade AD for KD? That feels like the most Suns thing ever.
Indy should be temporarily banned until after free agency.
Probably. But tell me you can't see that happening while we have to trade a disgruntled DA for Clint Capela straight up...

Maybe it is because I don't really have an appetite for a Kevin Durant trade, but I don't see Phoenix coming close to offering the best package.

The Simmons-Embiid pairing had its issues; Ayton-Simmons would be even worse. I don't see Brooklyn being in a hurry to bring in two elite but very expensive role players (Ayton and Bridges) who can't create offense. Brooklyn is going to want to want guys that can score.

Portland could offer a resigned Anfernee Simons, Eric Bledsoe, the draft rights to Shaedon Sharpe, Greg Brown, and Keon Johnson.

Chicago could offer Nikola Vucevic, Patrick Williams, Coby White, and Ayon Dosunmu.

Atlanta could offer John Collins, De'Andre Hunter, Jalen Johnson and draft rights to AJ Griffin.

Does New Orleans decide to offer Zion and make a run with a McCollum-Ingram-Durant core?

We were very worried about you. Dropping out in the middle of a finals run. Hope you are doing OK.

This is starting to feel like a real option…I’m trying to figure out a way to do it without Bridges but I just don’t see why Brooklyn would do it. Ayton, Cam J, Crowder, another salary and picks? That would be the dream…CP3, Booker, Bridges, KD and whatever Is left…More likely it’ll be CP3,Booker, KD, Crowder and whatever is left. My guess is Brooklyn will want Ayton, Bridges, and Cam J.
Then you hang up the phone on them if you're James Jones. Come on. Trading your entire young core except for Booker? That's completely reckless.

Also remember it's the Suns we're talkng about. Which means that before training camp is even over, KD will have some devastating injury.
Depends on your perspective…certainly makes the future sketchy, but you can’t tell me our team wouldn’t be better next year. Also I think we’ll find a way to keep at least one of them.

As for the injury…nothing we can do about that…can’t run the team based on things outside your control
I can and I will. :P In fact, I think we would be worse.

DA missed 25% of the season. Cam Johnson and Jae each missed 20% of the season. But we would be worse off getting KD?

Again, if we trade the farm for KD and call it a day….we’re worse. We have got to follow that up by making several win-now-worry-about-the-money-later moves to make it worth it.

Don’t buy a $100k car then be too cheap to maintain it. But a cheaper car if you can’t support it.

There are at least 50 players in the NBA better than any of those guys. There might be 5 players better than KD. It is a LOT easier to replace what you are losing in those guys than what you don't have without KD.

Team continuity is important. KD is only getting older. I believe we would be worse this season than we were last season (and worse than if we brought the same team back). Even if we brought back the exact same team we might be worse this season, if CP3 really starts to decline.

That goes for every player on every team. ;)

And of course I would love to just add KD to this team and not give up anything of value. But you don't get a top 5 player for nothing.
