Lol. No. Still no. I can’t stand players that can’t stay in their role (Mcgee, Mike James, Tucker)

He’s literally the only starter who scores like 5 points, 2-5 fgs, 4 rebounds, 1 steal. And is thought to have had a good game.

That's how I remember PJ in Phoenix last time as well too. But that was before he'd ever been really paid or won a title.

He's not at that same point in his career anymore and wouldn't try to do anything outside of his role. He changed, and I think you can too.

The only issue I foresee is his salary as he just opted out of a pretty sizeable deal. But maybe that's just his way of changing teams?

Tucker has been a real mercenary of late. On some very successful teams I might add.

I like PJ Tucker, but if he opted out of $7 mil on that really good Miami team, he wants money and years. I don't want to pay him that much.

I think he'll re-sign in Miami. Something like 2-3yr/$12-16M.

True but not sure how many teams would be willing take on his salary anyways. While not a full on salary dump, Suns could offer Payne and future second for him and save the Knicks about 4 million.

If they can’t get a full on salary dump then saving 4 million is better than nothing. It’s a low risk, high reward. They need a decent pg and if Payne has a bounce back year, it would be great deal for them and if not he’s only partially guaranteed next year any ways.
