Suns throwbacks are here. DA's in the promo looking happy, which is hopefully a good sign even tho we traded Oubre like a day after he posed for The Valley jerseys a few years back. I do wonder if there's going to be a concerted effort to market him more this season.

I don't really think a "post-up 4" is what we need. We need offensive creators, PGs or swings who can initiate our offense so that CP3 and Book don't have to shoulder all of that load. Our forwards can be 3-and-D snipers like we've already been using, such as Mikal, Cam, Crowder, Craig.

Gambo saying that he thinks we're set with the roster. I know we have up until the deadline to make changes, but blech.

I definitely think we need a bigger, more versatile 4 who can help on the boards and create some offense.

Crowder, Shamet, and a future 1st for Collins. Who says no?

I'd honestly be very good with that. And Paul has always been great with athletic forwards that can run a pick and roll.

I don't think Collins is a James Jones-type necessarily, but I hope the FO recognizes that it's important to have some diversity in our forward crop. As Mori mentioned, Jae, Mikal, Cam and Torrey are all basically the same archetype with differing skill levels. We could use an athletic 4 who can slide up to the 5 in a pinch.

We flamed out in spectacular fashion and, as of today, our big changes were losing Javale and adding Landale, Okogie and Lee. 3 minimum guys. So yeah, if this is the grand offseason plan, then “blech.”

But still lots of time to actually upgrade the team.

I think we have a great team heading into the regular season. And like you said, there's lots of time to upgrade and I think there are going to be some really good opportunities through buyouts and teams dumping salary. And I do think that someone from the group of Ayton, Bridges, and Johnson is going to take a significant step forward, and I wouldn't be surprised if a guy like Duane Washington or Ish becomes a really solid, playoff-playable, contributor.

I'm with 'bazz. It's eh, meh, and blech.

With the way the rosters look now, I don't think they can get past GSW or LAC in the West. The Suns are in the group of about 5 other teams that need a few breaks to go their way to get into the Finals. Really good, but not great.

Can't wait til the Suns give up a first for Doug McDermott at the deadline after running it back a second straight year. Heck yeah, superb general managing.

Yeah, I'll be surprised if Washington or Wainwright become regular rotation contributors during the regular season. Have the optimism to see it in the playoffs is viewing them through some deeply shaded glasses.
