He's saying it is very unlikely we end up with KD and Ayton during the season.
Very unlikely is being generous. I'm saying it'll never happen.
I think there is a less than 15% chance Ayton is on this team to start the season. And even less if KD is on the team at the start of the season. I wouldn't go as far as impossible, but both happening is <5%.

But you had both KD & Mikal and Ayton & Mikal as options on your list, that's why I'm confused.

KD & Mikal would mean the Nets accepted Johnson and filler, our picks, plus maybe a protected pick from Indiana.

KD & Ayton would mean the Nets accepted Bridges, Johnson, filler, and our picks.

The second option sounds like a better deal for the Nets and thus more likely to happen than keeping Mikal.

Ayton is gone. I only put that third option there as a reference for where I'd prefer the option of more or less running back the same team.

Aystan heads are gonna explode when he gets 20 and 12 next year and he avgs career highs in FTAs. But what they won’t notice is that he’ll likely never see the post season for years.

Fouls hurt and Ayton doesnt like contact, makes sense to me.

Yeah I don't see them jumping up 4 spots to just make the play in. And the playin isn't post-season, at least according to NBA stats. You have to get into the final 8 teams in your conference for it to count.
