Where are the contract offers for Deandre Ayton?

Clearly he's not viewed as a max-level player by the league, but there's not even been a rumor of a team offering him a new deal at less than the max.

I'm genuinely curious at this point.

Obviously RFA is one factor. If he was an unrestricted free agent there would have been offers by now.

His agent has done such a bad job.

Bill Duffy is generally excellent at getting mediocre-decent players huge contracts.

Yeah, Billy Duffy isn't some mom-n-pop type of agent. It's really quite strange how this has played out.

Nobody wants to max a guy who can't get his own shot. Doesn't seem that difficult to me. He's also been suspended, and has a knack for making layups more difficult than they should be. Other teams see this.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

I get all that, but there's a middle ground somewhere.

This is turning into a Dennis Schroder situation.

Crazy to think that they probably had a 4yr max offer last year and didn't take it.

Not probably. Jones said they did, but they wouldn't even listen to him.

Yeah, I just don't get it. Unless they all knew about Brooklyn and they are just letting the teams do their things to avoid tampering charges.

RFA typically moves a lot slower than UFA. It’s just the way it works.

Nobody’s asking why Miles Bridges has gotten any max offers yet…oh wait…

RFA deals do take more time unless there are multiple teams lining up to offer as much as possible. oh wait..

A ton of RFAs have already been signed. I mean they were all from their current team, but a lot were snatched up.

There's a reason nobody is touching Bridges.

yeah, hence the "oh wait" at the end.

Yeah, it was a bad joke. It sounds like some pretty serious stuff, too. It’s hard to believe he’s Mikal’s brother, they seem so different.

Gonna be hilarious if we end up re-signing DA for like 3/72.
