Are we talking perennial or just like a Brook Lopez once or twice kinda guy?

Sure he will play in an All-Star game some day. But sadly that is all for him.

By “at some point” I meant at any time, ever. Anything else would be too hard to define for a poll.

Probably. I mean, even Mark Eaton and Chris Kaman made an all-star game.

18/9 and a .527 TS%, had a -2.5 BPM….I guess we ignored advanced stats back then.

Looking at the list of guys that made a single all-star game is really interesting. You have a guy like Alvan Adams who made it his rookie year, but never got back in a 13 year career, then other guys like Kaman.

He might get in a time or 2, probably as an injury replacement.

A future all-star? Absolutely. All-NBA team? I can see that.
Dancing with the stars and chopped athlete showdown champion too? Yep, I think it’s all on the table.

I am just sick of people equating the realization that a maxed Ayton is not in the Suns long-term plans with saying he sucks.

Right, I think most of us would have the same opinion if we were talking about a Cam J max extension. I think we’d be even more against that.

I remember someone saying that top 10 was questionable. Also, top 10 center does not equal All-Star.

Yeah, I agree the poll needed some nuance. Making the all-star team once or twice in your career is a lot different than 3 or more times. I think once or twice is more likely.

I am not sure anyone was saying he wasn't a top 10 center. Even if they did, none of it equates to saying he is trash or that he sucks. It is disingenuous to keep saying that.
