So...you all said they would definitely match. And then you all said they won't pay DA and KD. So which is it gonna be?

Without knowing other things like the KD situation, I think you have to match this. It's still cheaper than the full max he wanted and we keep the asset to move later.

Also, Indy might not have that capspace yet and still have to move Turner?

Spotrac says they only have 21M, and even if they dumped their July 15th holds it doesn't get them close to 30.75M.

You match and move him elsewhere.

This could absolutely be a way to force things to get moving on the bigger deals.

You can't before aquiring KD (assuming that needs to be done beore January 15).

He can be traded in January or stay a Sun for the season. I have a feeling JJ let’s him walk. But that’s just pessimist in me.
I’v said before, KD with DA would be nice too. We’ve got a lot of pieces to move.

Match it. It’s cheaper than the 5 year max.

Duffy trying to force the Suns' hand by agreeing to the offer but not signing it yet. "Cut a deal or else".

Or the Suns leaking this to move things along. I am not sure DA wants to be in Indy if he can be in NYC.

For it to be a max, the Pacers would have to clear 9M in cap space.

They had over $26M.

Why is Woj vauge tweeting? Such a tool. Doesn’t he have enough clout to say more than what he is spoon fed?

Woj says he has not signed it, but intends to.
