Jones publicly backed a guy guilty of awful things. Lots of the guys did, including Book. It was shameful. Ayton was the only guy that seemed to care about the people Sarver victimized. And from what former and current employees have said, it didn't stop with Sarver.Superbone wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 3:53 pmSo what are you implying? Jones lied? Or is it possible he hasn’t had the same experience with Sarver as others? Same for Book.

Weird response bud. Garvin was part of the Sarver toxicity bubble, but go on.
Jones and Vogel out, Lue or Lee in, draft Tyler Kolek.

New uniforms - I like them overall but mostly because of the trim. I don't know why they're advertising the airport on the front.
Cam Johnson - It's always a bit concerning when sharpshooters put on a lot of muscle.
Deandre Ayton - I hope his serious demeanor is a sign of maturity rather than sour grapes over his contract and trade rumors. If it's the latter, I'm even more skeptical of him living up to his new deal.

I see more of Dario as the primary backup Center with Ish playing the PF spot. Probably a situation dictated by match ups from game to game, but I think they'd like to keep more offense and ball handling with the second unit. I also think it won't be long before Jock is off of the bench before Biz.

Eesh! Not good. Not sure how he snowed James Jones so thoroughly if that's the case.

I also heard Williams say good things about him. I guess he’s snowed them all since you guys know what’s real. All I know is what I’ve read online which we all know is guaranteed to be facts and tell you everything you need to know about a person.

I’m reading that DA was his normal happy-go-lucky self behind the scenes with the media so take that for what it’s worth.

At least there was a little levity during media day...
Payne says he's just getting into baseball. Yeah, I figured that out when you called runs points.

Yea I think (hope) the media Q+A stuff is being overblown a bit. I don't think it's on-court related like the team is falling apart or everyone hates each other, just the guys presenting themselves as taking the Sarver stuff seriously. It would seem disingenuous to say they're disgusted and thinking about the victims in one breath and then flip a switch and be goofy and joking around in the next breath. This wasn't a typical media day given the circumstances.
Re: Suns Media Day 2022 - Monday, September 26th
Okogie is kind of a zero on offense but the defensive potential on the perimeter with him and Mikal could be nuts. Shamet was decent on defense for us but I thought had some trouble with bigger players.
The Suns have been developing Ish for that Jae role as a bigger 3-D guy; it remains to be seen whether he can fill some of those minutes while Cam steps into the starting job. I kind of see it as a reallocation of minutes and Jae just got squeezed. I think if the Suns gave him an extension, he'd be fine coming off the bench but the Suns probably assume they can just give Ish and TC whatever minutes are leftover from Cam's 30-32.
