While Harrison Barnes probably played his way out of trade consideration the last few games, I wonder if John Collins is playing his way in to it. He's been pretty quiet since a strong start to the season. I wonder if Atlanta looks at his contract as a burden at this point and we can get him for the Dario-Jae salary relief pu pu platter. I also wonder if we should want to.

A name that used to be brought up quite often before but I'm surprised I haven't heard y'all mention yet is The Finnisher 😅😅

How bout those Utah Jazz smh
Those dudes doing their thing so far and I'm talking about Lauri in case people didn't get that. Heard that nickname years ago, laughed and never forgot it 🤦🏾‍♂️

Lauri looks legit…I’m not a believer in the Jazz yet. They have 21 games between now and Christmas…I think only about 7 of those games are likely wins. If they can win 10-11 or more of those games I’ll be impressed. That would put them at 20-14 or 21-13. At that point we’d have to realize they are legit. I could also see them going like 7-14 and being 17-17 at that point and fading.

One of the strongest strikes against the Jazz is that their management genuinely wants them to lose. So if it doesn't happen naturally, they will likely take efforts to make it so.

I think the next month or so will determine that. Can’t imagine they’d start selling off parts if they are top 5 in the west.

I think the picture was intentional. Lowry couldn't believe that Carter had that game.

Somebody forgot to tell them that they're tanking.

Yeah, but I love it, kind of that baseball movie with Charlie Sheen, even if Donovan is balling great at Cleveland, Gobert is not living up to the king's ransom surrendered by the Wolves. So is great to see the players didn't mourn over their two "Stars" and giving up.

Sure would be nice if Ayton would take advantage of Gobert’s situation to get himself into the All-Star game. No way are the coaches going to reward Minny with two all stars with the record they have. But if things keep up the way they have been Lauri or Jerami Grant is going to take that spot.

Jerami Grant is not going to be an all star.

How much did Dallas pay McGee to be their 10mpg starter? Surely it was too much.

It's not like EVERYONE knew that was a bad move the second after hearing about it.

Speaking of the Mavs, I got into a debate with a group of NBA fans here from broad backgrounds. I was surprised to find out the consensus among us was that Luka Doncic is currently the best player in the world.

I have him in the top 5, but I think Giannis is clearly #1 right now. My argument was built on Giannis being the most complete player in the world. He could easily win DPOY every year, but is essentially ineligible because he's up for the MVP.

I agree. Giannis is my clear number 1 and I don’t think I’d take Luka over KD or Jokic when you account for defense.
