Well what I always come back to with Ayton is, yeah he drifts in games in November, but he is a monster in the playoffs and is a big part of our contending deep into the postseason. His numbers always go up and he seems to rise to the challenge of playing teams with great big men in the playoffs.
You say this like Ayton has this long history of doing this. He did it once: in 2021, when he was looking for a max extension. And even then, he didn't do it when it matter most (the Finals). Last year's playoffs, he was up and down, and somehow couldn't dominate Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell.

Who’s better: Pts/Reb/Blk

Player A: 14.6/7.6/0.6 on .588 TS%
Player B: 17.7/8.5/3.3 on .633 TS%
Oh, oh! Me, me, ME! Player 2?
AIG wins! Also so does Myles Turner as player 2…we all know who player 1 is.
I get your point, but the season is barely 10 games old; you can't put too much emphasis on season averages yet. Myles Turner has his own issues (like never staying healthy, poor rebounding).

I wish I could like this post 10x.

Is the board boner for Landale soft now? Can we go back to Dario? Or are the blind wolves going to come after me again.
So Saric actually played, so there's that. And I get you've been waiting for first bad stretch to make that post, but it has been two games: this one and the Sixers game. He was fine in the two games against the Blazers. So no, we still should be playing Landale. He is going to have turn in several more poor performances before he loses his spot in the rotation.

Fair, just showing how disappointing he’s been so far. A few people were very unenthused by Turner, which was fair, but he’s pretty easily outplaying Ayton this year so far. Maybe Ayton turns it around and/or Turner falls off, but we wouldn’t be any worse if we had swapped those two right now.

I would have loved to take Turner in a sign and trade with Indiana; I thought it was stupid that Jones was "not interested in anyone on their roster."

I really hate to keep harping on this but Ayton is probably the only big in the league that drops this in rather than dunking it with authority.
