Game Day: Suns (8-3) @ Magic (3-9), Fri 11/11/22

Post by Superbone »

Time: 5:00 pm AZ (4:00 pm PT/7:00 pm ET)
Place: Amway Center, Orlando, FL
TV: BSAZ/NBALP

The Suns will be bussing into Orlando from Tampa as they try to avoid Hurricane Nicole. Unfortunately, rookie sensation Paolo Banchero may not play as he’s been dealing with a sprained ankle. However, Chuma Okeke made the most of his first start in Banchero’s absence.

The Magic are a talented and scrappy bunch, but they don't know how to win games. They've pretty fun to watch so far this season.

This should be a win for the Suns as long as the Magic don't shoot the lights out.

If Bol Bol out performs Ayton in this game...

Paolo may be out which would be a boost for us because he's so good and would hurt us up front. Bol is more perimeter oriented. It's WCJ who could outperform DA if DA tries to sleepwalk. Wagner is also a really good young big with size and they have a lot of athleticism in their backcourt but not much shooting. I wonder if we go zone and dare their guards to shoot.

Really hoping Banchero plays, that kid is gonna be a good one. At least Bol Bol will be out there showing Ayton how to do 7' SG things.

If nothing else, Banchero could show Ayton what aggression looks like.

Something tells me we will win, but a few of the Orlando bigs will show great promise, so the majority of the thread will devolve into comparing them favorably to Ayton and bitching about DA.

Biz just chilling doing his own thing ☺️🙂
Every time I see him doing offensive drills I just smile and smh cause dude knows why he is paid and is clearly unfazed by not being "part of the group". 100pts for self awareness man ✌🏾💪🏾

Either way, this post will probably go more wrong than good 🤷🏾‍♂️ but the banter is fun to watch

I hate it when the coach is so riggid about his substitutions that he takes out the hot hand and leaves the guys who are ice cold out there.

Of course after a great offensive game, Mikal follows it up with a dog shit one. Hopefully he gets something going soon.

Offensive consistancy is the next thing he's going to have to build on.

One of those “one step forward, two steps back” kind of games.
