Time: 8:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, CA

The Kings hope to shoot their purple laser into the sky on Monday night. The Kings have played well at home while the Suns have struggled on the road this season.

Haven't seen them play as yet but Kings surely been getting good reviews so should be interesting

From what I gather , Fox apparently being competent from 3 now
Huerter been lights out and Sabonis still doing his thing

What I also noticed (due to Fantasy league ☺️😃) is that last year's prized pick Mr. Mitchell doesn't seem to be a key part of their early season success
Found that surprising

Cool to see DA get Player of the Week
And.......

Sabonis definitely ain't the person to slow down this roll he's on so hope the guys act accordingly

Huerter is hitting 47% from behind the arc.

Malik Monk, who the Lakers stupidly let get away, also is playing well.
(Monk hit 39% from the arc last year with L.A. Yeah, that was a good move not to re-sign ...)
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

Not a Lakers thread, but, the Lakers had a perfectly capable squad to support Lebron/AD, but they just let all of them walk away in free agency. I'll never understand that. Why wouldn't you do what the 2022 Warriors did and just spike your luxury tax bill and keep all those guys? Caruso, Monk, Kuzma, Morris, Schroder, ... I'm sure I left a few out. They just let them all leave. Stupid.

Picked THT over Caruso, which was very dumb. Traded Kuzma, KCP, and Harrell for Westbrook, which was also very dumb. They did let Schroeder walk when they traded for Westbrook, but he’s back now.

Not sure why they didn’t want to keep Monk…maybe he just wanted out. That Westbrook trade just looks awful. Kuzma and KCP would be very helpful.

I think given their tax situation they just preferred Lonnie Walker at $6M over Monk at $9M. That extra $3M probably would have cost them a few times that in L-tax payments.

Ya that could be. They also had Nunn coming back. The bigger issues were definitely the year before

Sabonis tends to dominate Ayton. Let's see what happens coming off Ayton's monster game.

Shamet doesn’t need to play. DW and DL are better.

Even Ish has earned more minutes for this lineup.

Crazy to see the kings double Ayton nearly every time he gets it down low. Big difference from when teams were cool with guarding him with 6’3” dudes just a few games ago lol

Too many missed defensive assignments here. Ish might be a better option here over Shamet. Or maybe good time to try Ish as small ball 5 here.

I don’t like DWJ, but I agree Lee can have Shamets spot and is closer to being worth his salary

Jack is WHACK.

Biz has been bad too.

Can we give Dario a shot at 5??? Or go small with Ish!
