Lakers beat the Bucks :?
Yes last night was a quality win for them which is annoying

A healthy and engaged AD is a monster. It's just so rare when he shows up.
👀 Fire Frank Vogel.

I want the Lakers to play just well enough to make a really stupid trade and mortgage their next 5-6 years for a failed attempt at relevancy this year.
I actually think the Lakers could do some damage. AD has been incredible this year. LeBron is more like Jimmy Butler level now, but he’s still very good when he plays. Add some role players and they may actually have something. West is wide open.

Even Westbrook has been decent for them off the bench. But if they can make the trade for say Hield/Turner…I think they can make some noise…assuming they stay healthy.

Schroeder/Hield/LBJ/AD/Turner is a pretty legit. Bench isn’t special, but if they stay healthy, they aren’t a pushover.
I can see that argument. But to me it's just so, so much more likely that they'll blow it. Lebron has a ton of mileage and is finally starting to slow down. He can't carry a team through the playoffs any more. And AD is literally injuring his back and legs on ordinary jumps and landings every few weeks. Plus the rest of their roster is such puuduu bantha fodder. In the playoffs they play every other night, and I can't see them staying healthy and being able to put up enough wins to beat anybody. They could maybe beat a team like Minnesota or maybe Dallas, but I doubt they'll have a high enough seed to face them.

Ya I agree it’s more likely they can’t stay healthy, but if they somehow get Schroeder/Hield/LBJ/AD/Turner all healthy in a playoff series, I wouldn’t want to face them. It is pretty unlikely though

When it comes to a playoff series, I think the Lakers have CPitis.

Injury luck always plays a factor, but I cant imagine their current roster making the past the second round.

Apropos of nothing, 2 young players I just love and wish we had: Trey Murphy III and Jalen Williams.

He probably gonna beat out Booker for player of the week

Booker was

39.0 pts
6.5 ast
4.0 reb
1.8 stocks
62.7% fg
3-1

The loss yesterday will probably do it.

Feel like if the lakers could trade for some shooters they could make a push in the west with the way AD and Lebron are playing.
