4 good looks to win and they can’t hit 1. Wow.

Also, why am I watching the game live online and getting text updates telling me the final score with 15 seconds left in the “live” broadcast?

So frustrating that Lee refused to give Ayton the ball for the game-winning shot, when he was calling for it right in front of the basket.

Book and Payne missing 5 FTs in the 4th is tough…So is our pretty poor defense. Refs didn’t help by calling so many fouls, but credit Houston for attacking…we couldn’t stay in front of the ball.

Huh? Ayton had the ball at one point and passed it. He had a pretty good look too. Lee barely had time to get it to Booker…passing to Ayton would’ve been a mistake

Terrible defense in the 4th.

Suns are 2-5 in games decided by by 2 points or less.

5 of their losses are by a total of 7 points.

The right answer is Lee should’ve shot it. No passing to book or Ayton or whatever. Just fuckin shoot it.

Ayton had the ball when he got the first offensive rebound, but he didn't have a good look and did the right thing by getting it to Book. But at the end he was right in front of the rim, calling for the ball, and Lee made the longer pass to Booker.

Darn, gave this one away. They had some really dumb fouls toward the end that let the Rockets put points on the board, and they missed some gimmie shots that they needed to make. Tough to see them fall apart at the end like that.

I'm an Ayton defender and I still have to say that the one-note song you keep playing is getting a little old Jeremy.

FTA disparity, coasting early in the 4th quarter, missed bunnies late in the game... Dumb loss.

Credit to the Rockets for playing hard, but they do seem to talk a bit much for a team that's won 6 games.

I’d have to see a replay to really know, but there was 1 second left when Lee passed it, Ayton would have had to get up an incredibly quick shot. I don’t trust Ayton there and especially not when he had a pretty lackluster game. I know you see everything through strictly an Ayton prism, but this is still a stretch.

And Ayton did have a good look. He had the ball 8 feet from the rim and he’s the biggest guy out there.

4th quarter -

Suns 9/23 FG
Rockets 10/16 FG (7/9 in the restricted area)

So there you go.

I agree with Jeremy. I don’t understand why we aren’t letting Ayton play point guard, score all the points, and also not fire JJ and Monty and let Ayton GM/coach it. It’s going to hold this franchise back if we ain’t gonna let Ayton cook.

I watched the replay and there was not a good pass to Ayton. Gordon was there. Ayton had his back to the basket. You’re pretty far off here Jeremy…better chance the ball would have gotten knocked away and no shot gets off.

Force feed Ayton with his back to the basket and a defender between Lee and Ayton while Ayton is having a poor game or pass it to Booker who is wide open and has dropped 92 points on 35/50 shooting in the last 2 games. Lee honestly should have just shot it, but if he’s gonna pass, Booker was the only choice.

Rockets with 17 free throws already? Come on wtf
This wasn’t even half time and that’s 2 short of what the Suns got for the whole game.

Tech on book but Kevin porter talking shit to the ref gets nothing. Fuck outta here. Refs a joke in this game.
They definitely had money on this one.
