This is when all of the Suns employees can make their voices heard. They need to band together and tell Ishbia they won't tolerate Isiah. He said he wants to listen to the employees and find out what has happened and how to make the culture better. This is their chance.

I bet he was not expecting (for whatever reason) a big backlash to the hiring. Maybe the backlash can make him change his mind and prevent the hire before it happens.

Man, seriously, Isiah Thomas?! What the fuck. Why even have Sarver leave if you're going to replace him with a group including Isiah Thomas? Absolutely shameful and unacceptable.

Entirely possible but there were multiple reports speculating Zeke was coming in with Mish

Yeah, but that’s what I mean, nothing was confirmed and it seemed kinda weird to drop that announcement in the middle of the first quarter.

Hopefully this holds but he could still have Ishbia's ear, even in an unofficial role. Could be a timing thing too where they try and slip it in a year or two from now.

Regardless of how Suns fans feel, Thomas will be an advisor to Ishbia. Wether it’s as an official employee of the club or not is to be determined.

If I had to guess, I would call it a trial balloon. Response was overwhelmingly negative.

I can live with Thomas being an unofficial advisor.
