You guys are taking the easy way out. I had my whole prostate removed (along with the cancer).
During the scope to look at my bladder, he noted mine being enlarged and restricting some things. I've had this bladder related issue (prostate, apparently, being the cause) since my mid 20s. I'll find out more when I follow up with him. What were your issues leading up to diagnosis?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Yassss! Wish I had my vasectomy Wednesday instead of today. I had to plan it out 6 weeks ago. Had I know we'd have KD debuting....
Mine is coming.. so to speak, are you saying it's not an enjoyable experience? My doctor and wife both seem excited by the prospect of me having this done.
I can't speak for anyone else but my balls had a dull ache for months after.

No outward issues. Prostate cancer ran in my family. My dad had it. So I was getting PSA blood tests since my late 20s and always had slightly elevated levels. After one of my "Moon River" finger tests when I was 45, my doctor felt something and suggested I get a biopsy. They caught the prostate cancer at 1% and then I had a prostatectomy early the next year.

It's been fine. It's not the same down there but it still works. :) There are some advantages too. No mess if you know what I mean. I love how we've all been together for so long that we can learn from each other and talk about some of this life stuff other than basketball.

You tell me to make an all time team with any player from their peak and the only player I’m absolutely sure I’d have on it is KD.
This is a timeline where Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Tim Duncan, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Kobe Bryant, and Larry Bird don't exist, right?

Its really a matter of opinion here, KD can score with any of these guys and is arguably the biggest match-up problem on offense from anywhere on the floor. He's the most complete offensive player in history for me.
👀 Fire Frank Vogel.

Ya he just fits in every lineup. I’d certainly have some of those other guys, but I think there are variations where I’d leave some of them off. Not saying KD is the greatest player of all time, but if you had MJ, do you want Kobe or KD?

I’d probably end up with both MJ and LeBron, but I can foresee a scenario where I leave one off the team. Would those two work together? They obviously would from just a pure talent standpoint, but it took LeBron and Wade some time to figure out how to make it work, I think LeBron and MJ might as well. KD just slides right in with ease.

I think my all-time starting 5 is Curry, MJ, Lebron, KD, Duncan. Curry's not an elite defender but he's passable, and you want his shooting. All four guys besides Duncan can hit a 3 and all four except Curry are plus defenders. There's no elite passing PG in the group, but between Curry and Lebron you have two guys who can initiate the offense.

I don't think KD is in the top 5 players of all time, but I do think that I'd much rather have him in a fictional all-time lineup at PF rather than some bruiser like Barkley, Malone, etc. Nor would I want to go Twin Towers with somebody like Duncan at PF and another big like Kareem, Russell, Hakeem at C; that would leave you too few 3-point shooters. Basically KD is the perfect modern PF, elite shooting out to 3-point range and scoring, and sneaky good defense and length. I'd also rather have KD in this lineup than another dominant guard like a Kobe or Magic; I don't think you need another high-usage-rate guy like Kobe gumming up the offense when you already have MJ, Curry, etc.; and I don't think you need Magic's elite playmaking when you already have Lebron and Curry and a group of generally unselfish guys (outside of maybe MJ).

I think I’d have a very similar team…the one spot I’d change is maybe Duncan…but not sure who I’d take. Maybe KG…unless I’m playing in the 80’s/90’s…then I’d probably go with Hakeem.

You guys are too young. I'd go with Wilt or Russell at the 5.

Shaq bodies both those dudes, Russell might have been 220lbs. If it's not Shaq at the 5, gimme Kareem.
