Every Dario layup was an adventure.

He's better for this team than Dario, but hold onto your hype horse. He has a lot of flaws right now and shouldn't get minutes in the playoffs.
I think it is silly to declare that he shouldn't get minutes in the playoffs before he even plays game and also considering our lack of depth. Landry Shamet, Josh Okogie, Torrey Craig, and Ish Wainright are all lined up to get minutes; being better than them is not a high bar to clear.

Buyout market might give us some more depth.

Fair. He's just so erratic, but maybe Monty can reign that in over the next few months.

Yeah I will always appreciate the mind n savvy of Dario
I am always a fan of people who can make good reads n passes

He for sure though would have been isolated on D alot as the season goes on
I hope Bazley gets a fair shot at playing time though cause he has some things to his game we can work with in my opinion

But I agree with the sentiment that expectations should be tempered.

We better hope it does.

I didn’t even like Torrey Craig in the rotation, and he’s slotted to play major major minutes now

There is hope that a clearly defined role will help him.

I think part of the issue with him in OKC is they let him do anything he wanted. That can be beneficial for developing a young guy, but it can also be difficult for them to fit back into a role when new development players come in around them.

Knowing how much I will miss Bridges, if this kid drops some unicorn stats in a game any time soon I’m buy all his stock and change my name to JeremyG The 2nd.

I think Bazely gets some minutes here, at least in the regular season. This gives Monty another solid point-of-attack defender to alternate with Okogie. He's shooting 40% from 3 this year as well. Definitely a steep dropoff from Dario in the basketball IQ department though.

Interesting that he is not a foul machine at his age, not reading so much into that Blocks >fouls as sustainable, but I do as way to measure defensive IQ, Is not that hard to be a blocking machine that is also a foul machine, as it is to know your moments, specially as a young player without any whistle benefit.

If you didn’t click through the thread and look at highlights I recommend…Just got me a little more excited about Bazely…he’s a big time athlete and he’s huge. Seems to have quite the nose for blocking jump shots…including one of a certain #77. Some pretty impressive ball handling and attacking skills. Of course this is just highlights and those can make anyone look great, but there’s definitely talent there.

I’d give him a small role, just have him defend all over the court, run in transition, hit corner 3s, and attack closeouts. I’m looking forward to seeing him in action.

It's also telling that he got to play with Paul, so maybe he was brought in under CP3's advice as someone capable to fill a secondary role, not only to sit on the bench.

It’s hard not to romanticize what player with his size, length, and nose for defense can do in a system if he can play sort of a Crowder/Craig role.

If he can learn to shoot 3s, he can become what Jalen Smith was supposed to be.

Only 45 attempts, but he’s shooting 40% this year so far.

His technique is fine. I'm eager to see how he's fitting in the rotation in a month from now.
