Time: 8:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: BSAZ, ESPN

Well, we’re going to have to wait a little longer for the Phoenix Suns debut of Kevin Durant but we might not even see the return of Cam Payne who is listed as questionable for this one. Durant practiced with the team and is currently being projected to play on the road against Charlotte. Let’s use this time continue to integrate the other new guys. I’m hoping we might finally see Bazley playing against his old team.

Where is everybody?! Not a one message today? I'm excited to finally have a game. It's been a minute.

Is Super Dario going to come back to haunt us tonight?

I'm hopeful that we get to see Bazley today. I think he's got some promise and athleticism that would be good for us. I'm actually surprised he hasn't gotten more run since the trade, but it would be nice to at least get a quick feel of him on the court.

Word out of OKC was that Bazley is just not a good basketball player. Perhaps he figures out the sets and Monty can figure out how to either use him better or develop him. Might be a reason why he hasn't seen the floor since he's arrived.

He just doesn't strike me as a Monty player, although I'd love to see him get a shot because brings some traits we otherwise don't have.

I agree with this, and I hope that what I've heard is wrong. We really do need what he's good at.

On a side note, when Brooklyn decided to make sure that Crowder was involved in the deal, I feel like the Suns probably had a deal with Milwaukee already set up that they then would have flipped those 2nd round picks to Utah for Jarred Vanderbilt. After seeing how he's played in LA, it's disappointing that it didn't happen, as I think he would have immediately been a player that could provided valuable and positive minutes to this team as either a starter or off the bench.

Hmm.. feels like someone else here already said when he was acquired.

I'm sure they have. I don't read all the posts, as I get behind a bunch of them. I'm happy to give credit to whoever said that. I never thought I was the first to think that the Nets milked the Suns for everything that they could get.

I'd usually be weary of a game like this against a lower seeded team without their best player, but I think the Suns will bring the intensity tonight.

As opposed to the Clippers game.
