I have no idea who that is or what the joke is.

I hope you put money on that!Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 4:42 pmI have a hard time believing he'll be out long enough to miss a playoff game based on his movement after the injury. Yeah yeah, adrenaline and all that, but I don't think he'd even have tried anything if there was a significant tear causing discomfort.
I'm placing my bet on 2-3 weeks and he's playing by the end of March.

I'll take it compared to the imagined alternatives and Moore's bullshit.

Kellan highlights some of my big worries heading into the playoffs. I’m lot less bullish on our chances this year, still very encourage about our championship window but just not sure what I expect this year. We might be rolling into the playoffs with Durant having only played 10-12 games with us. That’s crazy.

I'm not as worried. It'd be nice to get the reps in over these last 15 or so games but KD's proven he can fit right in. His game and style just work in the system and we're not relying solely on him to win us games. It's not ideal, but it's not like we're re-working the system on the fly like we did when we traded Matrix for Shaq. There will be minor kinks to work out in terms of defensive communication, timing on the offensive end, and still ironing out the rotation and sub patterns from the coaches but I think that will all come together quickly given the talent and IQ on the court. The coaching staff figuring out the bench rotation and minutes is still probably the biggest concern for me when it comes to playing TRoss, DLee, TC, Ish. But working KD back in should be pretty seamless.

Agree. I think if there's one superstar in the league that you could feel okay about missing games and being inserted without disruption, it's KD.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I almost feel even better about it. Gives us a chance to peak in the playoffs Warriors style.ShelC wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 7:54 pmI'm not as worried. There are only a few of us here who have any interest in it, but I was a heavy favorite to win the fantasy league before the KD injury.

Well if anything, it gives other teams less scouting on our team going into the playoffs and could be a benefit that way.
Re: Suns News: Week 21 (3/6 - 3/12)
We can survive this. But it does make it less likely that we can rise up to the 2 or 3 seed. So we're probably stuck playing the Nuggets in the 2nd round, which isn't ideal. Oh well. I just hope the rest of our guys can stay healthy.
It sure sounds like KD will be back to 100% for the playoffs. But it's concerning that he's already had two significant injuries this season. Durability and age may shorten our team's title window. The period where the Nets look like geniuses for fleecing us out of a decade's worth of draft picks (and a young star in Bridges who never misses a game) may come sooner than we thought.

Partially kidding.. Isn’t there a 60 day traders remorse clause we could use?
