9. Phoenix Suns (-6)
The Suns aren’t looking sharp. They’ve lost four of their last five. Those include key losses to the Kings, Warriors, and Thunder. Now, Phoenix is so far away from the top three and is just 2.5 games away from the play-in seeds. Things can go south quickly if the Suns can’t right the ship.

There's what 10 games left? Be cool to have him back for at least half of those to get rotations kinda going.

What about Ross?

Ross/Shamet may be the 1/2 in 9 1/2. I think Monty goes back to Shamet when he's fully healthy but tests Ross as a heatcheck if he needs to go smaller.

I think he was counting Ross as the 1/2 as in he only plays offense.

Suns did originally say 3 weeks, which would line up with what Jones said. Maybe he’s just sticking to the original timeline and not reporting new info? But maybe that’s just wishful thinking. I’d like to see him Monday against Utah. Wednesday against Minny at the latest. We need Ayton back Friday and Saturday.

He's probably just referring to the initial report that he'd be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks. I still think there's a decent chance he plays in one of the next two games.

It was ESPN's sideline reporter reporting on a conversation he had with Monty today, so I don't think we'll see him until at least this time next week. Bummer.

That sucks…especially when Jones said he’d be playing if this was the playoffs like 2 weeks ago

Wasn't able to watch last night. Glad I couldn't. Saw Scott Foster & his team awarded the Lakers 50 FTs. That's insane.
