No one wants to talk about how the Nuggets are going to dominate another opponent?

I know he's overpaid, but Duncan Robinson would be perfect for us. I wonder if there's something possible revolving Shamet and Robinson that could happen.

There are several reasons for this Nuggets team, but I haven't enjoyed watching a non-Suns team in the Finals since the year Dallas beat the Heatles.

Why is he perfect? We love overpaid guards that drop bricks in any game that matters and do little else?wpmiller42 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 7:08 pmI know he's overpaid, but Duncan Robinson would be perfect for us. He's an elite shot maker, especially from the corner 3, and doesn't let the ball stickspecialsauce wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 8:18 pmWhy is he perfect? He's not nearly elite enough of a shooter to make up for the things he doesn't do well at his salary.

Max Strus and Duncan Robinson shot a combined 1-16 in 41 minutes. Those are some Landry and Ish numbers.

Look on the bright side, at least none of them are Reggie Miller.

Nuggets look like they're going to cruise to the title at this rate. Congrats to Jokic, Murray, and the rest. They're a good team and they play a fun style of basketball. They were the best team in the league this year.
Re: 2023 Playoffs: The NBA Finals News Thread
Best team in the playoffs…Milwaukee was the best team this season.
Re: 2023 Playoffs: The NBA Finals News Thread
It will be interesting to see how Milwaukee responds next season. There has a been a very strong "fire Bud" movement since 2020. That was one of the things that was so incredible about the Suns lost to them; Bud was done - wining the championship was the only thing that saved his job. And yet, he still gets fired.

Awe. Poor Crowder and the Bucks. So sad to see.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

That’s the point…people are already forgetting and assuming Denver was the best team all year. They haven’t been.

I think they were when it matters the most, the stretch from early December to the All-Star break. They definitely downshifted in March because they didn't need to burn themselves out going for meaningless regular season wins.Split T wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 12:48 pmThat’s the point…people are already forgetting and assuming Denver was the best team all year. Milwaukee looked really good as well, but they never really gelled for a long stretch like Denver (and Boston) because of Middleton's injury. I can't fault them for trying to ramp it up right before the playoffs, just bad luck with the matchup and Giannis getting hurt in the first game.

They went 29-5 from 1/23(When Middleton returned) until they shut it down with 2 games to go.
