Around the League: Week 3 (11/6 - 11/12)

We have a good 2 headed monster at C now with Nurk and Eubanks. I liked Biz, but don't really miss him and don't think he'd fit that high post look we want from our 5. He's very limited in what he can do and makes the most of it, but he can just as easily pick up 3 fouls in 3 minutes. Memphis is a good spot for him at the moment.

Most of us I think would like Bizzy over Bol…. Well accept Isaiah. Don’t think we’d replace bizzy with eubanks or nurk.

Bismack Biyombo is balling out for the Grizz. In their 105-101 win over the Clippers (now 0-4 with James Harden, lmao), Bizzy put up these numbers:

13 points on 5-6 FG, 3-7 FT (oops), 12 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk

Not bad. Love to see Bizzy making an impact; miss that guy.

I came on here to post that as rough of a time as the Suns have had, the Clips have been that much worse and they have all their stars.

We used to had Ayton, Landale, Saric, ahead of hin, and still proved really useful. Eubanks already showed a propensity to pick up 3 fouls on 3 minutes as well, and having Byombo would be great for those momenta.

I like both Nurkic and Eubanks, but they are really far from any “monster” label, the team needs at least a true 3rd head, or an upgrade, but given that neither Gobert, Capella or Turner (to name a few, not specifically) are crossing the door anytime soon, Byombo is not that bad, again, specially instead of BolBol. Ive never been into mascot players.

Not giving a single minute to Metu so far is annoying, and at some point the ineptitude on the court has to also go back to the coaching staff.

Hali vs Maxey in the Suns Fan Masochist Bowl was quite a show today.

One of my NBA buddies was trying to sell me on Memphis and Philly doing a Ja for Maxey and Toby swap. I told him Philly would never make that deal and he thinks I'm the crazy one.

Maxey is probably about as close to untouchable right now as anyone in the league. He gives you everything Ja does without the headache on higher efficiency.

Agree with you…. No way they’d do that trade, especially after just dealing with that harden drama.
