Kevin O'Connor usually has pretty steady takes. Once in a while he'll dip a toe in the hot take bath with something goofy, but I appreciate what I perceive to be mostly honest opinions. I think he did a pretty good job with this.

I think Haliburton is a bit high because we've never seen him play in games that matter besides the FIBA World Cup and that was a mixed bag of performances from him. I can't put MPJ in my top 50, and especially not over LaMelo Ball.

This kind of stuff still has me seeing red. That's just a poster of guys the Suns should have drafted.

But I do generally agree with KO's rankings here.

I'm guessing 3 games for Draymond, but I wouldn't be shocked with 2.

Oh please...

That's what annoys me about Kerr. Just hold your hands up and say Draymond was totally out of order and deserved to be ejected. Defending it suggests it was a debatable decision.
Agreed, I've seen it from a number of different angles and multiple times. Kerr lives in an alternative universe, imo.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Lamenting over not drafting Haliburton is approaching All Things Ayton for me without the one or two people who disagree with the obvious consensus.

We all get it. Haliburton is a great player and James Jones drafted an 8th man. There's nothing new to discuss about that mistake.
I get it…. But ask you to consider that for some, this is there place to vent with other like minded people who understand. I don’t think any of it is intended to be malicious (at least that I’ve seen) but to help them blow off their frustrations.

Don’t think I posted anything…. Sorry if it bugs you and knowing that I’ll try to refrain.
Agreed but, isn’t his right to vent about people venting endlessly, covered as well by the principle you just exposed? I mean, I totally share and understand where he comes from, not so long ago I did something similar on the Ayton thread, only to get slammed by another poster, but moderation seems to work just for some cases and posters, no matter how rude, annoying and/or broken records they are.

But I try not to take anything here too personal, so it’s easier to let things go, and that way I can keep coming daily to see you guys and talk some Suns.

That’s why I only come around maybe once a week now. The constant pissing and moaning about the same things has gotten so old.

Yeah, we're unhappy as it is the way the season is starting out. Might as well pile on with missed draft picks. It is pretty surprising that so many passed on him. I think teams should ignore players' pleas to only want to go to certain teams like Haliburton supposedly did.

Totally agreed, in my case, it’s reflected in actual posting, it discourages me big deal. Another collateral effect on me is actively avoiding the game day threads while on live, as people gets totally on edge and starts calling names to players (human beings like all of us) and over reacting to almost any single play. I try to post imagining that the player or the fellow poster is right in front of me, and that’s just me, but the lack of self control and awareness that sometimes spills around here makes me take distance from engaging more often.

Still, this is one of the most civil forums I know, and deeply hate discussions based on gif and name calling, and that rarely happens here, so that’s something to be appreciated.

I don't know if the Suns could even sign him and I get why he's going to the Clippers with Plumlee out, but again, this is someone I'd much rather have than Bol Bol.

Well, this just got a bit more interesting...

https://www.inquirer.com/news/kelly-oub ... 31115.html

Surveillance video does not show hit-and-run against Sixers’ Kelly Oubre Jr. in Center City, police say

Surveillance footage recovered so far in the alleged hit-and-run that injured 76ers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. shows no evidence that a crash occurred at the Center City intersection where Oubre reported being hit on Saturday night, police said.

“The Police Department currently does not have any video or photographic evidence that depicts this collision,” Sgt. Eric Gripp, a department spokesperson, said Wednesday. “We continue to work in hopes of gathering evidence and we encourage anyone who has information to reach out to our crash investigation unit.”

I very nearly made essentially this same joke right after the event, but decided it might be Too Soon. Now that there’s this apparent weirdness, I guess it’s the right time and I applaud you.
