I know this…the best 2-man combination on the team(plus/minus) is Book and EG. The spacing he provides is huge

57.3% from 2 feet isn't so hot when he's hitting better when he takes a step back.

I might get around to listening to that, but unlikely.

I really just want to know if Gordon is planning to continue front rimming every shot he takes within 5 feet of the rim.
Do the stats really back that up? I cringe when Gordon pulls up for a 3-pointer when he's like 15 feet behind the line. But otherwise he seems to be a fairly adept shooter and scorer.

League average in the restricted area. Best shots are corner threes and top of the arc.

Also Gordon is shooting 76% at the rim. His struggles are in the floater range. 36% there. 56% in mid range, 50% on long 2s, 40% on 3s

Splits right... but also the lack of our depth has kinda forced more on his plate. Hopefully with our 3 and D players getting back will help him out.

You guys are right, I had it wrong with "5 feet from the rim". He's fine on stuff right at the rim.

He's 12-29 (41%) from 5 to 9 feet, and 16-42 (38%) on non-RA shots in the paint. Those are the shots he's "always" front rimming.

I'll never miss watching him barrel into the paint and barely get off of the ground to put up an awkward shot just to complain about being fouled.

Our team has very little elite athleticism; same situation with Nurkic

We do have a decent schedule over the next 6 to get going

Tonight: vs Knicks who are without Mitchell Robinson

Sunday vs the Wizards whose only win in their last 16 games is against the pistons. Side note, the Pistons, Wizards, and Spurs are 1-54 in their last 55 games combined…with the lone win being that Wizards over Pistons game.

Tuesday @ Portland

Friday @ Sacramento

Then home for Christmas against Dallas.

The next 4 after that are Houston, Charlotte, Orlando, Portland.

The only b2b is the Orlando/Portland on New Year’s Eve/New Years and both are in Phoenix. 6 of the 9 are at home. Now is the time to go on like an 8-1 run and get back into the thick of the playoff race.

Thanks for putting all the Marion ROH content together, Shel! Man, he really went all in on his speech. Hopefully he can reuse a lot of it for the Naismith HOF.

Beal to miss a few weeks. That's pretty good news as far as I'm concerned. I thought maybe 2 months.

Bummer about the 2 weeks out. But it could have been worse. I just hope he'll get a sustained stretch where he can find his rhythm and learn to fit into our lineups.

And in the meantime, I hope we start giving a shit about defense.

Theo Maledon isn't significantly better than Saben Lee, so we're in trouble if either of them are playing real minutes.

Yeah. I don’t fully get this. Another meh PG.

I would have looked at Wenyen Gabriel, who’s kind of exactly what we’re missing as an energy big and actually played productive minutes for the Lakers last year.

Not sure why you're bothering to sign Maledon when you don't even play Saben Lee. Why have both?
