With 11 points on Christmas night against the Suns, Luka Doncic will tie Bob McAdoo for the seventh-fastest player in NBA history to reach 10,000 points for his career. (358 games) Eric Gordon turns 35 and hopes to become more involved in the Suns offense. Nurkic remains out for personal reasons while Josh Okogie may return to the court Monday night.

I'd say the Suns are due to win on Christmas since the last time it happened was in 2009 and they only have 2 wins on Christmas Day in the past 30 years. Then again, the only thing dependable about this team right now is their ability to disappoint.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I really hope the Suns are able to get a win tonight instead of a huge loss. Otherwise it may be the beginning of the end and an end to the beginning.

I have the lowest of hopes, slightly boosted because Irving is out. Merry Christmas 🎄

I’ve got 50 to win 140 on Mavs winning.
I also got 25 on Suns winning, Gordon scoring 12 and hitting 3 3’s to win 90

Not a bad parlay tbh… if this was a suns team playing well.

I mean I figure either Mavs are winning or it’s going to take Gordon helping book and KD to a suns win lol.

Can anyone explain how Vegas has the Suns as 4.5 point favorites without Nurkic?

Looks like a Christmas gift to me.

No Kyrie and Kleber helps a lot. I guess the gamblers haven't caught on to how awful we've been lately? Weird.

Should we make a thread for the other Christmas Day games? I'm watching Warriors/Nuggets. Nugs on track to win. As much as we've struggled, the Warriors aren't really any better. They seem like a team whose run is over.

Watching Lakers-Celtics now. I don't get why the Lakers are considered contenders. They are barely over .500 and getting demolished by the Celtics. Celts look excellent. On another level compared to where we're at right now.

Who's everyone's guess as to which random Mavs player will hit 4+ wide open 3-pointers? I think I'm going with Dante Exum.

Now that would be impressive since he's basically not played all month and isn't active for this game.

Why Suns get a female ref every game?

Lady Ref

There are plenty of good lady refs. We've had a few run-ins with them, but I think it's been good for the NBA to get women into the officiating crews. There was never a good reason to exclude them, and largely they've acquitted themselves and proven they belong.
