Time: 6:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ

The Suns return home to take on the new-look Pacers who are at the end of a 6 game road trip. The Pacers lost to the Blazers Friday night in the return of Haliburton to the lineup and the debut of Siakam. The Suns hope to continue to ride the red-hot hand of one Devin Armani Booker who smoked the Pelicans for 52 on Friday night.

So the hope here is that the Pacers are still adjusting to the brand-new Siakam and we can bust 'em before they really figure out how to play together. Pacers are a good team but we are on a bit of a hot streak lately. Interestingly the Pacers have almost exactly the same record we have, and they're at almost exactly the same place in their conference standings as we are in ours. We are in #8 but only 1 game back of the 5 seeded Pelicans. I think getting to #5 is a reasonable short-term goal for us if we can find a way to keep winning most of our games.

Turner, Obi and Stix are more mobile stretch bigs, wonder if Nurk sees less time on the floor and we go with some smallball KD at the 5?

Maybe, but I think our offense flows a lot better with Nurk out there. I don't see any reason to abandon one of our best players just to match the style the other team is best at. Turner and Stix aren't going to run Nurk off the floor; they're smaller, but they aren't lightning fast.

Yea I wouldn't specifically match up with them unless Nurk is really struggling, just something to watch out for.

On a positive note, Nurk's been showing more on PnRs at times throughout games recently and hasn't really been getting burned. So there's some progress there at least.

And Suns turnovers would be a big part of that feast.

Or how about we're just the better team at full strength than they are and beat them at their best?

Haliburton is out which is great for the Suns and helpful to anyone who might feel the urge to whinge about not drafting him during this game.

Looked like Allen twisted his ankle or knee on the landing.

This Pacers defense is horrendous. Worse than our 7 seconds or less.

Layup line so far. Pacers D is comically bad.

Carlisle already with two disgusted at his team timeouts…I don’t even understand this defensive strategy.. it’s the give up open layups strategy

The Suns are definitely doing their part to make the Pacers defense look bad. Everything is downhill at the rim, no side to side sit and wait for the double team BS.
