Also can’t believe we’re talking about Bol as a playoff rotation guy, but he’s the 8th guy right now.

Man I really enjoy Beal. He was great tonigut. He’s a joy to cheer for in terms of being a vibes guy too. No one can really replace Mikal in the locker room, but Brad is goofy enough to help defuse things.

Unless they pick up someone in the buyout market I think the playoff rotation is going to end up being -

F - Durant, Allen, O'Neale
C - Nurkic, Eubanks
G - Booker, Beal, Gordon

You'll probably see spot minutes for Okogie and Bol.

If they do add another player, I hope it's either a C/PF or PG. It'll have to be on a minimum contract though.

Love Bol. KD has really taken him under his wing.

I don't know if it's that the last two games I watched the Away team feed and National broadcast
But just felt like I was noticing so much in between plays especially with KD (maybe cause it was Suns feed)

The whole big brother thing with Bol is just cool
There's the IPad one in the interview but also when he got the ball and backed down the guard for the turn around j

KD basically on the wing telling him to go at the dude
Then let's the ref hear it on the next dead ball that it was a missed call and 1

Another cool moment was the break when he passed ahead to Eubanks who had a driving lane to challenge Markkanen but you could see he was looking to give back KD all the way. He kinda botches it, gets the foul tho and immediately turn to KD like my badd
KD then is gesturing like "take that shit" saying he should have tried dunk on Lauri

Interestingly it felt like KD dishes to Drew for like 4 dunks y'day

Enjoy those team chemistry type moments

This was a fun win. It felt like we were actually distributing the ball and making smarter plays for most of the night. I didn't realize Grayson Allen had 14 assists, but that's great for him. I had to just check the box score and I found that our starters had 7, 3, 4, 7, and 14 assists. That's incredible. A real example of how this team can spread out the offense if it really wants to. I also thought Eubanks had a nice game for us; 12 points and 7 rebounds. Folks were really hard on this guy but I think he's a capable backup center.

This game was a great example of why we went out and got Beal. Book is out with a nagging injury, and we don't miss a beat; KD and Beal each get 30+ points and carry us to the win. KD and Beal had a really nice chemistry together tonight, and it's cool to see us actually able to get a win without Book, something that used to be almost impossible for us in the past.

For the Jazz, it felt like Sexton was making every 3; turns out he was 3-6. Also we let John Collins get inside for too many easy baskets, but oh well. Jazz have some good pieces and you can kind of see how they are better than many folks expect. If they used some of their assets to get 1-2 more guys this offseason they could actually be pretty good.

So would you all say this is Durant’s team now? I know in the offseason most people were saying it’s still Booker’s team.

Still Bookers team, it will always be Bookers team. Durant came to play with Booker, ok his team lol.

I still think it's Booker's team. Sure, Durant is also a leader, but this team goes as Booker goes. And I think there's something to be said for a leader who always gives it 100% like Booker does. KD doesn't do it often, but I've seen him give up on plays after a bad pass (his own) or missed call.

It's Book's team. Always will be. KD doesn't want that responsibility. He's a roleplayer with superstar skills. Nothing wrong with that, but Book's the leader and sets the tone.

That's an interesting question. I still think of it as Booker's team. KD has been awesome and has basically done everything I could have asked, including clear mentorship of some of our younger guys, and setting a strong tone defensively. He's also found a nice offensive flow with certain teammates like Metu and Bol and goes out of his way to get them involved. I really appreciate that from him. But he's been here only a year, and Book is a Suns lifer who took us to the Finals, and he's still in his prime. To me it's still Book #1, KD #2. Or maybe Book 1A, KD 1B.

I think in the national media more broadly, lots of folks think of it as KD's team, or maybe as a joint leadership between KD/Book. KD got the All-Star starter vote, and Book barely makes it as a reserve. And Book seems to get fewer calls from the refs. It's too bad. Book deserves better recognition and respect.

Beal is starting to come into his own with the Suns now. He's now had multiple games that surpassed my bet with AIG without missing a game. This is awesome to see. We were so worried about him to start the season. He's such a team player, too. Willing to sacrifice his face for the team. Says he'll either get the nose reset during the all-star break or after the season so as to minimize and/or eliminate games missed.

Interesting thing on Beal is the Injury prone VS Bad luck debate

Lots of us were trying to figure if he would be reliable with all his missed games in recent seasons

Guess it's pretty clear to see he's far from paper-soft and probably one of the toughest guys here and super committed. His whole MOJO been good for the team
