Reminds me of a chubby Dario a bit
He reminded me of a big boy Doncic. Plays at his own pace.

Here’s what I think the suns should do with their pick…I won’t get into prospects but if someon you love is available just take him…in all other scenarios I think we should trade the pick for a future 1st.

Say we end up at 18, trade down with someone in the 20’s for a couple future 2nds. Then send the pick in the 20s to someone for a 2025 1st. You get a couple 2nd round picks and then you retain the draft pick as a tradable asset.

If we draft a player in 2024, they lose basically all their value to us on the trade market. We can’t aggregate them salary wise and their contract will be so small that we can’t really acquire anyone of value for them. The 2025 pick can be added to a player for a trade. Would leave us with 2 tradable 1sts next season. As it stands now, we will only have 1 tradable 1st after the 2024 draft…we could technically trade 2 1sts on draft night.

They need to start accumulating developmental players to balance out the cap assets. There's also a G-League team coming soon, right?
This is why I’d support a Killian Hayes signing. Although, he’s probably looking for more of an opportunity.
Agreed ..they should give him a shot and try to throw some developmental efforts at him...

I like Hayes as a reserve. Good D and ball skills. Shot needs work, but there are plenty of shooters on the team.
I'd rather have Hayes as the backup point than Okogie...
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

I think this is a reasonable path forward but consider this: The draft can be effective in bringing in new salary above the vet minimum. The 19th pick in 2023 was Bradin Podziemski, who gets paid $3,352,404 in 2023/4. His base salary escalates to $3,519,960, $3,687,960 and $5,679,459 in subsequent years after which he becomes an RFA where he can really get paid. Without the pick, you can't add the salary slot.

Yes I think that’s a way to go…you do have to wait for their development though. I don’t think it’s a bad route, but the team may prefer the trade asset to the cost controlled player.

Yea it just comes down what the team wants to do. Personally, I don't want the team to forget about developing young players. I would have rather had some rookies with upside than the vet min trash they ended up with at the beginning of the season. Also, its nay impossible to retain a vet min player that has a breakout year. Rookie deals don't have that limitation.

Ya I’d be on board for developing a young guy as well…not sure James Jones and others want to do that though. Will be interesting to see what direction we go

I'm still bummed about Camara. It would have been interesting to see if he would have gotten regular playing time here.

KOC gassing up Eddy as a potential lotto pick. Just wouldn’t surprise me if the Suns drafted him. I’m already prepared for it.

Where's Bronny?! Is Lebron really going to wait another season to play with him?

I liked the comparison for Ron Holland: theoretical Josh Jackson 😂

He’s got a 50 million player option with the Lakers…he can pick that up and then be an UFA in 2025 and just go to whoever drafts Bronny

To this end, do you want us to draft LeBron James jr?
