This finally, on the sixth (!!) try, gets the team's win-loss record into positives (8-7) since the All-Star break, and its record to 12 games above .500 overall. Still seemed a lot like a malaise win, the Hawks just aren't very good. I guess having a non-terrible fourth quarter is something positive.

Glad to see them get a win. But this game did nothing to change my view that this team is toast. Same dumb passes, turnovers, bad shots, incoherent offense, lack of closing out on D, and all the usual stuff. 1st round fodder.

The officiating is worse than ever. Even the league deciding to make changes midyear was bad. Wait until the offseason, put out new points of emphasis and let the refs teams adjust in preseason and the start of the season. To start calling things tighter at a random point in the year only made things worse.

Booker finally had a great game: 10-15 shooting, 6-8 on 3s, 30 total points. Also, two guys who take a lot of shit on this forum, Eric Gordon and Drew Eubanks, played very well. Gordon had 21 points in 24 minutes, and Eubanks had a solid 7 and 4 in 16 minutes along with the defensive play of the night, a nasty block.
