Why do the Suns always get her word salad ass doing the ESPN games?
Apparently, word salad is attractive to a lot of people.

Shoutouts to Royce and Bol…both were phenomenal in their roles. Beal and Nurk didn’t make shots but they did fill the box score in other areas. Beal has had to sacrifice touches and shots and it’s huge that he’s decided to help in other ways…7 assists, 6 boards, 2 steals. We will need him to score at times but doing more of the little things will go a long ways.

Doris told us about Beal’s sacrifice ad nauseum.

I find it fairly easy to tune out broadcasters

Let's keep that kind of talk in the Politics section, por favor.

Another huge game for Booker with 40 points and 8 assists. KD had 32 points and 7 assists. Beal was kind of invisible, shooting just 3-9 and scoring 7. As others said, Royce O'Neale had a phenomenal game filling in for Grayson Allen, with 17 points on 6-9 shooting. It felt like everything he put up was going in. He even drove to the basket for a floater that swished right through the hoop. Gave us exactly what we needed when missing an important starter. Bol Bol was awesome tonight with 15 points on 5-8 shooting (3-4 on 3s), which made up for Nurkic and Eubanks both basically no-showing. Didn't get much else from the bench; when Eric Gordon is having a bad night like this one, it feels like we just have no bench scoring to fall back on.
I didn't realize until I checked the box score that Cleveland basically played 6.5 guys all night. The only bench guy who got a lot of minutes was LaVert. The Cavs' bigs (Mobley and Allen) are really imposing; that's a nice luxury for them in their lineup. But they give up some shooting in return. They shot just 27% from 3 last night while we shot 54.5% from 3 (!).

Beal wasn't invisible, he did exactly what they needed. Ask Dorkis Burke, she'll tell ya.

Mute button? Too bad you can’t turn on the radio and mute the tv like the old days… syncing that crap with streaming is annoying.
Couldn’t really do that in the old days, as I recall. The radio broadcast was live and the TV broadcast like ten seconds behind.

I just think my focus is on the play and then on my own thoughts as I post on here or look up stats…I still hear the broadcast but it rarely bothers me…though sometimes it does…I find it easier to tune out the national guys as they aren’t as homerish as local crews…that Pels crew was bad.

You're right.. wasn't perfect but we did it anyway
TBH I haven't tried the radio streaming apps in a while to see if you can "pause" those... If you can than I may have to do that and just wear my headphones like Bartman

This game just proves that we need to start Royce. Sooner we realize that, the sooner we’ll start rolling.
Wouldn’t hurt to try Thad over Eubanks either.

If he’s shooting well it makes a ton of sense, but he’s been streaky so far. Grayson’s reliable shooting has kept us in a lot of games.

It's hard to make a case against Allen as a starter. He's a more versatile scorer than Royce and certainly hasn't done anything to lose the job or even make anyone question him being a starter. But I do think I like Royce better as a starter with the rest of that group. Just a gut feeling.
I still don't totally trust Bol as a reliable bench player but you can't deny his impact offensively and around the rim when he plays against certain teams in certain matchups. And last night there were good matchups for him against the longer, leaner Cavs frontcourt. Vogel didn't use him against the Pels because of guys like Zion, JV and Nance but last night he could get out there and not get banged around too much. And again, wish we could've seen Thad in those matchups as well since Nurk seemed to struggle with the quickness and athleticism of Allen and Mobley. We have some frontcourt versatility, need to take advantage of it.
Also good to see us maybe simplifying things with Beal on the ball and letting Book and KD be scorers. I'm sure it's a major adjustment for him, especially at this point in the year, but I'd love for him to look at the basket more on his drive instead of circling around and kicking it back out.
