Agree. He kept the other giant waste of space big white stiff out there. I'm starting to see why folks call him his nickname around here. Bol would have been much better instead.

New Orleans bench outscored Suns bench 34-7.

Alvarado had five 3s.

Suns were outrebounded 42-38. Also had 15 TOs to Pelicans 12.

The game was sloppy early in the first quarter, with Pelicans missing shots and making TOs.
Suns failed to capitalize.

There's a game today? Oh, shit. What time?

love ya 'Bone
Yes, it's about to start and my sources are telling me Grayson Allen and Jusuf Nurkic are available to play!

Sorry 'Bone, don't love you, but let's be friends
We might have been better off without them today.

No one on the Suns can stop Zion when he's engaged and getting the superstar whistle. This game was lost because McCollum and Alvarado shot a combined 12-20 from 3-point range.
All this.

Well, I think we all realized that not having a forward with any heft was one of this team's shortcomings. It's just that there aren't too many teams built to take advantage of that.

And our dime-store bench has been a big issue all year, and today was no exception.

David Roddy could match Zion's heft. The problem is he wouldn't be officiated fairly and he's not bringing anything to the table offensively.

Zion is one of a handful unstoppable players in the league. He had one of his best games in his entire career tonight and there wasn't really anything the Suns could do about it. The solution to get the win had to be to either stop the Pels other guys or have a hot shooting night, and neither happened.

Ahh! Typo, should have been "running" hard. But seriously, I'm not as down on Eubanks as some, but there are a lot of games where he's just not it, and you can tell after about a minute or two. If I was Vogel, I'd go to a lineup with Bol and KD-at-the-5 in the non-Nurkic minutes. There are some nights that might not work well, but I think for the most part, that puts us in a better space offensively. And it can't be much worse defensively than when Eubanks is in there.

I think that’ll happen in the playoffs…we’re probably trying to limit how much 5 KD has to play in the regular season

Eubanks just cannot get playoff minutes in the absence of injury, foul trouble, etc. he's awful on both ends of the floor other than the occasional dunk

The stats back that up. Unfortunately, he's a low IQ basketball player. Great hops and timing on blocks but then it all goes downhill from there.

IMO he's better in some matchups than others. I like him more than most folks here, but the on/off stats for him are concerning, and even by the eye test he's rough in some matchups. We don't have any other bigs? Azubuike is not playoff-eligible? And Coach doesn't seem to want to play Thad Young?
