Thanks Shel for posting these threads for the final week of the season. You're awesome.

I LOLed at this play in the Bulls game. Poor Torrey Craig.

Well he did have Drummond on his back. Looks like Drummond thought it was for him. And it probably should have been.

I Just watched a YouTube video about the free throw differentials in the NBA from team to team for the last 2 seasons combined. The Warriors had the lowest free throw differential at -646, meaning their opponents shot 646 more free throws that they did. The Suns were #21 at -140. The Knicks, Bucks and Magic were #s 2-4 with 1013 combined. Any guess who was #1? The Lakers by a large margin. Theirs is 1017! More than the next 3 teams combined! And if anybody in the league calls out the problem they get fined into oblivion.

Here is the link if anybody wants to watch it:

So the league is secretly instructing referees to favor the Lakers, or the referees are taking it on themselves to do this?

The lakers take a lot of shots near the rim and don’t shoot 3s…I can’t speak to whether there is also some sort of ref bias, but they at least some of it is explained by play style….and warriors have complained for years about their disparity in foul calls but they are a jump shooting team that doesn’t pressure the rim and they foul like crazy on defense.

Doesn't their shot profile say differently though?
Jones and Vogel out, Lue or Lee in, draft Grant Nelson or Tyler Kolek.

No they are 2nd to last in 3pt attempts. They are not at the top in rim attempts, but they are top 10. They lead the nba in dunk attempts. Then on the other end they give up the 5th least amount of rim attempts. And are top 10 in 3pt attempts given up. Top 5 in long 2s given up.

I don’t usually agree with Nick but he’s right here…I think Jokic is going to win mostly because media members think they should have voted for him last year and didn’t…they don’t want to make the same mistake.

Luka and SGA should be considered…Giannis also isn’t far behind…though Milwaukee being a fake good team has me rethinking him.

Plus it'll make a back to back with the Kings when we play them on Friday.

Yep and then Pels also have a back to back on Friday with the Warriors…good chance we are back in control of 6 if we win on Friday.

So, Mavs at Clips, eh? That should be pretty entertaining.

Go Mavs.

I find the entire Clippers roster except maybe Zubac to be very unlikable.

There's a guy on the Mavs I find pretty unlikable as well. Two guesses who and the first one doesn't count.

I think you might be right. Luka might be the toughest matchup in the NBA. I still can't believe that McDonough passed on him for Ayton, even after hiring his national coach.
