Game Day (Early Start!): Suns (48-33) @ Wolves (56-25), Sun 4/14/24

Time: 12:30 pm AZ (12:30 pm PT/3:30 pm ET)
Place: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN
TV: AZ Family 3TV/NBATV

This is it. The regular season finale. The Timberwolves will be battling for the top spot in the West while the Suns will be angling for the 6th seed to avoid the 7th seed and the play-in tournament. In able to do that, the Suns need to win and they also would need a little help from their "friends" (AKA The Lakers). Minnesota is currently in a three-way tie with OKC and Denver for the number one seed. Oh, and if you didn't know, Karl Anthony Towns is back.

You all know we have an important game in a couple hours, right? Lakers too simultaneously to determine our playoff fate.

Who would have thought a season where we're 15 games above .500 could be so miserable? I guess that's what happens when you sell your soul and have one of the highest payrolls in the league. You expect more.

This year’s pretty weird too, with the #10 team being 45-36.

Yep, kind of the opposite of last year. This is what the play-in tournament is all about.

West went 260-191 vs the East this year, last year they went 214-236.

Fun fact, the West have had a better record in 22 of last 25 years vs the East

GS, now at #10, has a better record (45-36) than we had last year at #4 (45-37).

So if we win this and LAL win, we play ... The Nuggets? I can't keep track.

We play whoever ends up at #3. I don’t know how all the tiebreakers work out, but if MIN loses their last game while DEN and OKC win theirs, MIN definitely ends up at #3.

Denver will stay at 3 if they lose as they lose all the tie breakers. If Minny and OKC both lose and Denver wins, OKC would be 3

Pretty good start defensively. Plus Nurkic hasn't missed any layups yet.
