True. But it seems Silver thinks it’s more important than domestic violence. Hmm.

It certainly impacts the product more…they can’t be partnered with gambling sites and not give him a lifetime ban…I do wish they’d come down harder on domestic violence perpetrators as well, but it is an off court issue. This was an on court one.

This is utter BS. The NBA itself rigs games to maximize betting profits, but a little guy tried to take a slice of the pie and he gets kicked out of the league. Worse is that the NBA now makes it look like they’re keeping the game clean.

I think I heard Jeff Teague say that a lot of other leagues won't take players banned for gambling.

His career might just be finished. His brother makes $33M/year, so I think he'll still be financially OK.
