Easy fix:
1. Draft Edey as backup C.
2. Sign CP3 back with vet min.
3. Sign LeBron for vet min.
4. Move Beal & Allen to the bench and have a bench of Beal, Allen, O'Neal, Bol and Edey.
5. Get an offense that uses KD correctly.

I'm halfway kidding, because I think this is highly highly unlikely.

I don’t have a problem with retaining James Jones, unless you can get a clear (experienced) upgrade. Same with Vogel basically. I hate firing a coach after one season, but I would pretty much be ok either way. If you can get Lue, you have to go for it.

Jones + Lue (+ Bronny?) might be enough to lure LeBron. Perhaps Jones’ relationship with LeBron is why it seems Ishbia might be keeping him around for another year?

For those wanting Jones gone, do you really prefer the (likely) alternative? Ishbia bringing in one of his buddies such as Isiah?

So, you're saying there's a chance!

1. Draft Ware or Messi at 22
2. Sign LeBron for the vet min
3. Sign Kris Dunn at the vet min
4. Trade Nurkic and 2031 1st for WCJ

Beal/Book/KD/LeBron/WCJ
Dunn/Allen/Little/Bol/Ware or Messi

All depends on getting LeBron at the minimum lol

Come on. Don’t say “Draft somebody other than Bronny and then sign LeBron for the vet min,” because that’s not going to happen.

Bronny is gonna transfer to UofA and stay in college 2 more years. We’ll draft him in 2026

I'm in no hurry to fire Vogel unless he is a blocker to us landing LeBron (highly unlikely but stranger things have happened). Whilst some of this years problems were down to him I think a fair portion of the blame also has to be placed at the feet of the big 3. Assuming we don't move one of them I'd be interested to see what he could do with a more balanced roster that contains some players that are known for their defence.

I've thought for a couple of years now that the retention of Jones may have something to do with his relationship with LeBron and the possibility that we could entice him to come to Phoenix in some capacity. It feels like a bit of a pipe dream at the moment but if retaining Jones gives us a chance and avoids Ishbia bringing in Isaiah Thomas then I'm fine with keeping him.

It's gonna be awful.

Other teams in better positions than the Suns have the ammo to get even better while the Suns are stuck staring at themselves in the mirror.

Would Orlando trade Jonathan Issac for Nurk straight up?

Issac is always hurt and WCJ is nice but he is still on the small side for a center. Having Nurk as the big guy backing him up would give them one of the best center rotations in the league.

Issac is a great defensive player, would be good 4 for us and be able to play next to KD.
Bad side is he’s always hurt but dude is an expiring contact. It don’t work out then his ass gone next year. Big whoop. since he’s an expiring contract, he probably be a decent trade chip at the deadline too.

Kills me to say this...

The only asset teams will really want is Booker and honestly he's the one that makes the most sense for return on what we'd get back to build around if we're truly going to try to run it back and build around a deeper team. Beals on a busted deal and Durant isn't going to bring a lot back.

I wouldn't take Bronny with the 22nd pick. I would buy a 2nd round pick and pick him with that.

We aren’t allowed to buy picks anymore…we can sign him as an undrafted FA

I just have a feeling that we are gonna use 22 to get off Nurk. Hopefully we can get some kind of decent draft compensation back but idk. I think there’s some decent role players in this draft and don’t really want to miss out.

I would like to trade 22 for 25 and 38 from Knicks.

Or have EG opt in and trade him to the Sixers for 41.

The second apron rules are so fucking dumb. My hope is we can try to trade some of our opt in minimum deals for bullshit 2nd rounders in either this draft or a future. Nets can’t trade us a BS future 2nd for Ewwbanks? They have no center.
