He's going back to Utah; I heard it's a Dunn deal.
Dunn know about that.
Oh no, I do not want another long string of puns. Can we please be Dunn with that?

Don’t know where to put this, but Kevin Young is sure doing well for himself at BYU

Pro style offense will be a huge thing for him, Nate Oats at Alabama is the template, just run an NBA offense and the players will come.

Has a Finals team ever been dismantled as quickly as our 2021 team was? Seriously, only one player left three (or was it two) years later?! That has to be some kind of record.

Is it too much to ask for to just have a more enjoyable and less frustrating upcoming season? I don't even care about the results. I just want to enjoy Suns basketball again.

Maybe the Jordan Bulls?

The nice thing about the Celtics win, was that they stuck with the core team and tried to build around it. It would have been ideal for the Suns to do the same, but...

This Celtics continuity stuff isn't accurate.

The "core" they stuck with is literally two guys who were both homerun top 3 picks, and it took them forever to finally make the right move to trade Marcus Smart who many people said was their heart and soul.

I guess if you identify your core as 2 guys, then they did stick to it. They have other guys on the team that they have drafted or identified that have been with them for years too.

I'm saying it's easy to stick to a core when it's only two guys who weren't even close to busts at pick #3. In other words, they didn't really stick to a core at all.

Who are the other guys? Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard?

Boston had a down year in 20-21 where they lost in the 1st round…Tatum, Brown, and Pritchard are the only players that were on that team and this championship one. Jrue, KP, White, Horford, and Hauser were all added later.

I agree with FF, this isn’t exactly a win for continuity…if anything that would be the Denver title or the Warriors title in 22… And it also gives weight to retooling around Book/KD who are just as good as Tatum/Brown…we just don’t have Jrue/KP/White/Horford

But if we're talking from the losing Finals team 2 years ago, they also kept Horford and White who were both a big part of that team.

True, but they also went Finals, ECF, Champions and were dominant the whole year they were champions. Would they have kept their team unchanged this year if they were 30-26 at the trade deadline and sitting in the play-in? That’s the situation we were in. Boston has been 1st or 2nd in the East each of the last 3 years…we were in like 7th when we made the KD trade. It’s just not the same.
