Anyone think there’s a chance we can sign Oubre? Would you want him if you could?

I know Saucey would say yes, but what about everyone else?
With what money?

Nurkic and 2 1sts for Josh Giddey, Kenrich Williams, and Aaron Wiggins?
But why would OKC?
I doubt they would. But if they decide they aren't resigning Giddey, and they feel they need to supplement Holmgren with some bulk...
Two enormous assumptions and I think they have enough stuff to pull off a better acquisition than Nurkic.

He'll get more than the minimum this summer. He's finally shown that he can contribute to a winning team and that prevented a lot of teams from offering more.

That dude is a legend in his own mind, don't think he'd take that.

He's making like $600K more than the minimum now.

I agree he'll get more than that this summer, but his ego didn't stop him from taking the deal he's on now.

Who’s paying him? Sixers with their 90 million cap space probably going after PG and then trying to keep their own free agents like Hield and Batum. Might not have the money for Oubre. I think someone pays him too but I think there’s small chance he has sign for the minimum again.

Taxpayer MLE around $5M seems realistic to me.

Hield may have shot himself to a minimum deal after he landed with the Sixers, he was not good.

I did see that. He was way too relaxed switching back to Josh Hart, even in a normal situation let alone crunch time in an elimination game.

Yup and that's after taking a bad angle at Brunson and letting him fly right by him without deterring him at all.

I don't know about that. I think we fully intended to keep Camara this season. (But I don't claim to have a photographic memory.)
I see what you did.

We'd be mad to shop the No.22 unless it's for someone who can really improve the roster. Getting a decent PF or PG through the draft would ideal.

I guess when they say that they want to be best at EVERYTHING, they didn't mean evaluating talent and drafting.
