Everyone talks about 2018, but forgets that we maybe could have had Tatum in 2017.

The Celtics were taking Tatum from the beginning. Come on. We had no chance. McDonough acting the buffoon had nothing to do with the outcome.

The way I remember it was that we couldn't get Tatum to work out for us. The Celtics seemed to have their eye on him the whole time. Isn't that the draft where they had the #1 pick, were expected to draft Fultz, but instead traded down to #3? They wanted Tatum from the start.
Re: 2024 Playoffs: Around the League NBA Finals News Thread
That is mostly correct, but Tatum did work out for us and Earl Watson loved him and wanted to shut him down from working with other teams, McD loved Josh Jackson though and we shut him down from working with the Celtics…we thought we pulled a fast one on Boston, but no…hahaMori Chu wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2024 6:55 amThe way I remember it was that we couldn't get Tatum to work out for us.
