Watered down title. I'm putting an asterisk next to it.

This is making the rounds on social. Windy's not wrong but it's a little weird to me that it comes off almost personal somehow.

6 is the new 5 because 5 is the 6th digit.
1 - 0
2 - 1
3 - 2
4 - 3
5 - 4
6 - 5

See? 6 is 5.
As a computer scientist, I approve of this math.
So 2 + 2 ≠ 5, it actually = 2?

Computer people love offsets from a given point, so [0] is usually the first element of a list or collection, [1] is second, etc. So [5] would be 6th. There's an old joke, What do you get your computer scientist father for Father's Day? A mug that says "World's #0 Dad."

That was weird…very personal. Did someone in the Mavs organization get Windy to say that because they can’t?

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

It's odd that a national beat writer is that enthusiastic about how poor a player has been. I don't know what the beef is but it's pretty unprofessional.

I think the media doesn't talk enough, to be honest, about Luka's deficiencies on defense and especially his all-game-long acting like a toddler having a tantrum when his parents tell him he can't have something. Seriously. My 4 1/2-year-old has almost identical looking / acting tantrums towards us like he did screaming at his bench and coaches when he sat on the ground going ape shit after his foul near the end of the game. It's par for course. Thank God Windhorst laid into him. Luka isn't' a baby, even if the media conveniently forgets the fact that he acts like one, so this behavior shouldn't just be overlooked.

Yeah, most NBA stars complain. Luka takes it to another level. 98% of the league would be ejected for two technicals over the course of the game if they behaved like Luka, and he does it 90% of the games he plays.

Doncic is the very definition of a "big baby".

I want to say this is why the Suns were pretty successful against the Mavs this year and why I thought if they had to a chance to make it far, if they beat the Wolves. Unfortunately for this year and/or fortunately for this coming year, the Wolves exposed nearly every single flaw with this past season's Suns roster makeup.

Windhorst’s report sounds a lot like that much-maligned scouting report that Gambo received from a source in May 2018! The same things are still haunting Luka:
— Very immature

— Not mentally or emotionally prepared to play in NBA right now

— Entitled

— Full of himself

— Not liked by teammates

Luka is a terrible loser and an outright crybaby when he eventually gets knocked out. It routinely happens, such as this past Summer when he was ejected from Slovenia's knockout game in the World Cup.

The defense stuff is pretty dumb, IMO. Can he be better? For sure.

But he's defending Jayson Tatum in a lot of these clips. It's not like Al Horford is routinely blowing by him. No one suddenly thought Jaden McDaniels or Anthony Edwards were bad defenders because Luka was cooking them in the WCF.

Oh, goodie. He can stay in front of a 38-year-old Al Horford.

My point is how many people can stop Tatum 1v1?

But he's top 3 of the top 10 of the last 10 seasons of playoffs for multiple series. It's not just a Tatum thing. And there have been a lot of star shooting guards over the past 10 years torching defenders. This is historically bad multiple series. Not just 3 games guarding Tatum.

Seems to happen vs everyone he defends on the Celtics. And it's not like Tatum or anyone is putting the moves on him. Not even any crossovers or much of anything. He's not guarding them for any extended stretch because Tatum and the rest just put the ball on the floor, make a basic dribble drive and blow past him. I think you're overlooking some atrocious defense.

Did I not say he can be better?

His individual defense isn't one of the first three reasons they're down 3-0 in this series.
