Lebron, KD, and Curry aren’t the LeBron, KD, and Curry of 8 years ago…greece, Serbia, France, and Canada had the best player in all those matchups as well. We’ll have to win with depth in 2028, but that’s how we won this year too.

Booker getting a lot of respect. The Olympics certainly gave Booker a bump in reputation. He deserves it.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

It'd be cool if the whole stan culture online would die and people could just appreciate good basketball players.

Also, the people who openly admit they didn't like him but had never watched him play, what are you even doing?

It's been that way for as long as I can remember - Wilt, Erving, Magic, Bird, Jordan, Kobe, LeBron

People become fans for odd reasons sometimes, and their isn't a lot of logic in being "fanatics". You would think a great player like David Robinson with his record of service in the military and being a good citizen and a history of philanthropy in the commulity would be more popular than players with high profile off the court incidents or questionable on the court behavior, that's not the case.

I don't mind people who "stan" or are fans of their favorite team or player. But I never really get the random haters, people who strongly dislike a player without seeming to even have a real reason for it. I dislike Luka, but that's because he is a fat punchable fuck who beat us and humiliated us and was a dick about it. What's the point in randomly hating Devin Booker, who doesn't really talk trash or showboat or any of the usual hateable things? Who knows.

I think you are mistaken there.

Flagg will be a 2nd/3rd yr NBA player in 2028. Maybe he'll be a super special talent but he'll still be very young at that point. Chet should be on the team, I expect Brunson to be there. But again, where's the uber-generational talent? Serbia and France played us very tough and we needed all of LBJ, KD and Curry in those games.

Probably looking at something like Brunson, Fox, Book, Ant, Tatum, maybe Jaylen Brown, maybe Mikal, Chet...Ja? Paolo? Jaren Jackson? Mobley? Hali? KD/AD if they're around?

It's definitely a big part as to why he's gotten the rep that he's gotten.
