There will be a Stephon Marbury Musical in China called "I Am Marbury".

Re: Around the League: October
musicals in china are a bit of a joke... but then this one might just be worth checking out, maybe for comical relief purposes, if nothing else.

Like Goodwin, MKG has been trying to rebuild his shot from the ground up working with Mark Price.

The best thing Michael Kidd-Gilchrist could do to have an amazing NBA career would be to become a knockdown 3-point shooter. He'd have a job and a decent paycheck for 15 years to come.
Re: Around the League: October
He should study Bruce Bowen.
Re: Around the League: October
Good for MKG, it looks much much better. I hope he doesn't revert back to old habits when he goes full speed.

Not even close. The Cavaliers had three owners in about six months back in the early '80s.carey wrote: Shortest owner tenure ever?
As for Brooklyn being for sale - I hear Donald Sterling has plenty of extra cash lying around......

Prokhorov should just make a bunch of racist comments. That'll get his team sold in no time!

Re: Around the League: October
After checking, it was actually three sales in three months -
February, 1980 - Nick Mileti sells controlling interest in the Cavaliers to minority partner Louis Mitchell
March, 1980 - Mitchell sells his controlling interest in the Cavaliers to Joe Zingale
April, 1980 - Zingale sells his controlling interest in the Cavaliers to Ted Stepien
Ted Stepien turned out to be about the only owner I can think of who can legitimately challenge Donald Sterling for worst owner in NBA history.

Re: Around the League: October
Worst in NBA history off the top of my head -
1. Donald Sterling, San Diego Clippers/Los Angeles Clippers
1a. Ted Stepien, Cleveland Cavaliers
3. George Shinn, Charlotte Hornets/New Orleans Hornets
4. John Y. Brown, Buffalo Braves/Boston Celtics
5. Roy Boe, New York Nets/New Jersey Nets
6. James Dolan, New York Knicks
I almost regret putting Boe on the list because his problem was having no money and he was successful in the ABA, but his time as an NBA owner was a complete disaster. The actually had to make an alternate schedule for 1977-78 in case the Nets folded.
As for Dolan, you have to be a complete idiot to screw it up this bad in New York with all the money they're pulling in. Mikhail Prokhorov is right on his tail though.
