Ok, here is my (very) optimistic lookout for the remaining 12 games. I do hope, we make the playoffs.

So, that's a pretty realistic 9 and 3. With some effortless wins along the way, especially @WSH, vs LAC and @DAL.

Gives us 50 - 32 overall. No way we will miss 'em

I don't think there's any way we make 50 wins. I've had us pegged at 46-36 (meaning we only win about 5 more games), 10 games over .500 which is where we've been all season for the most part. I think unfortunately this puts us just outside the playoffs.

Carey: I agree that we aren't likely to win 50, but why do you think we'll lose to the Wiz and the lowly Knicks? Here would be my estimation of the remaining games:

That'd be a 7-5 record to close out the season. The trap game I think is the one @ Dallas on the 12th; it's a back-to-back on the road, right after playing the Spurs. (Argh, why does the league do this? It is bullshit to travel and then have a second road game the very next night. Adam Silver, fix this!) That'll be a brutal pair of games. Unfortunately I think the games against Dallas and Memphis might be the most important ones of the season. I'd almost recommend just throwing the game against San Antonio to be fresh and kick Dallas's butt the next night.

Cause we play down to our opponents fairly often. I just think we'll be looking ahead to the Clippers or whatever it is that has caused us to let down.

Glad to be wrong so far. We're 4-2 over last six instead of 2-4. I think we need to win 4 of the next 6 to make it. Maybe even 5.

Quick look at the remaining games for Memphis and Dallas.

Memphis: Currently 45-31 (Same as the Suns.)
Remaining games: @SA, VS MIA, VS PHI, @LAL, @PHX, VS DAL
Projected: 4-2 over last six for 49-33

Dallas: Currently 46-31
Remaining games: @SAC, @UTAH, VS SA, VS PHX, @MEM
Projected: 2-3 for 48-34

If for some reason we all wind up tied at 49-33, which is very possible, the game versus Dallas which determines our head to head will be enormous since we've split the series so far. We'd need the tie breaker to make the playoffs. There's a weird situation where a 50 win team simply won't make the playoffs. The West, man.
