Game Day: Spurs (1-0) @ Suns (1-0), Fri 10/31/14

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm Arizona/Pacific (10:00 pm ET)
Place: US Airways Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

Tough game tonight. The defending world champion Spurs are in town. This will be a very good early season measuring stick. There will be no halftime owner speeches or gifts given out after this one.

Go Suns!!!

Kawhi is playing. Can't get any news on Splitter, who missed the game against Dallas.

I so want to see Bledsoe vs Parker. Duncan-Diaw vs our bigs, not so much, but maybe hitting them hard and sending them to the FT line often could pay off better than trying to stop them inside.

It will be interesting to see how Ginobilli plays after his big first game against Dallas. He had such an awful pre-season, and I get the feeling he's still working himself back into shape. Maybe we'll catch a break and get him on an off night?

Bold...

Suns make early statement and route the champs.

Suns 109
Spurs 93

Look for another big night for Bled
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Looks like Splitter and Patty Mills are both out for this one.

Isn't Patty Mills out until December or January? I don't think his status is day to day.

I didn't expect Leonard to be back for this one.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

This would have been an excellent game for Warren to play. The Spurs, like the Suns, are all about shutting down the 3 point line. Warren would've balled out against Kawhi's backup. :(

Let's see another big game for Alex!!

I just want Tucker and Warren back so we don't have to see Tolliver on the court. :)

I think the Suns win this game in convincing fashion tonight.

I am concerned that my DirecTV NBA League Pass game showed as starting at 8 pm on channel 754 whereas the game actually starts at 7 pm. I just set up a manual recording for 7-8 on 754. I guess worst case I just watch it on my PS4 via the NBA Gametime app. Unfortunately, I don't think you can watch those things until after the game is over.

I watch live via PS3 all the time. Unless you're trying to do that in AZ it will work.

Can you start at the beginning after the game has started? I probably won't get home until 7:30.

Excited to see if Marcus can build off of opening night's stellar performance.
