Game Day: Grizzlies (4-0) @ Suns (3-1), Wed 11/05/14

TV: FSAZ, NBALP

Tough one tonight. The undefeated Grizzlies come to town. This is a team we couldn't beat in four tries last season. Memphis will really test our frontcourt. The Gasol/Len matchup will be an interesting one to watch.

Go Suns!!!

Don't see us winning unless Goran and Eric pull their heads outta their asses, even then it'll be a struggle.

Grizz are playing well. They seem to have our number for obvious reasons....SIZE!!!

Grizz 85
Suns 81

Really dreading this game. It seems like we haven't beaten these guys in years.

I just read somewhere that ZBo has averaged 25 and 14 against us since becoming a Grizzly. Yikes.

Unless the Suns can keep it uptempo, Memphis by 12. Gasol abuses our post players.
Tony Allen and Stringbean Prince put the clamps on the perimeter game.
Conley v. Bledsoe should be an interesting matchup.
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

I have predicted this one is a losing game. I hope I am wrong.

Our best chance would be to push the pace and try to run them off the court. We have a lot of trouble against these guys, though, so I have tempered expectations.

Suns will win.

The Grizzlies will question their place in the universe after such a humiliating loss.

Big Suns win! Wish I wasn't traveling and on the road for work. Hopefully I can find a stream on the internet.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Tonight, we see how ready Len is. I like how he goes straight up and lets his length bother players. That did not work against Jordan Hill, who used his greater bulk to back Len down Yao Ming-style. I expect to see more of that from Gasol and/or Randolph. So, I expect a good learning experience for Len -- an evening of being pushed around punctuated with several team defense plays.
