Game Day: Suns (41-29) @ Hawks (31-37) , Mon 3/24/14

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:30 PM ET (4:30 PM Pacific/Arizona)
Place: Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

Atlanta holds the 8th spot in the East, three games ahead of the Knicks, with their lackluster 31-37 record. They are coming off the other end of a come from behind game where they couldn't hold a 14 point lead in the fourth quarter against the Raptors. Suns need to take this one to continue their quest for the playoffs.

Go Suns!!!

Who is injured for the Hawks? Is Horford out? Korver?

Millsap is back. Horford is done for the year. And...
Atlanta sharpshooter Kyle Korver's status is unclear after he missed his second straight game Sunday due to back spasms.

This is in no way exclusive to this game, just a random thought: WHY does Plumlee continue to get minutes over Len?? He does absolutely nothing out there. I cringe every time he gets the ball. For the love of GOD somebody smack some sense into Hornacek.

Watching this one, in the 4th qtr now. Suns look like the better team. They're up by around 8. I just think we have a lot more talent out on the floor than they do. Elton Brand is playing significant minutes for them? Wow.

Hawks close it to 81-77. Horny calls timeout. It shouldn't be this close...

Markieff hits a big 3 to put the Suns back up 9 and quiet a mini-comeback run by the Hawks. Followed by a Bledsoe 3! Suns up 12 now. That should about do it.

When Kieff spots up and gets an open 3 from the top of the key, I feel like it's always going to go in. That's a good shot for him. What an improvement he's shown this season.

Atlanta really phoned it in there at the end.

No fouling in the last minute when you only down 8-10 points?

Nice, i think we will be in sole possesion of the 8th seed here soon. Dallas should lose thier next two games. I love how easy Bledsoe and Dragic get to the hole.

It almost seems like this team can't stand prosperity. The 10 point lead at the end was a nice change.
