9 is our lucky number.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Unfortunately, there's no way the Lakers are going to make it to #9.

On the other hand, we might get there on our own. :(

The Pelicans say it isn't the Len-gth that counts, it's the Width-ey.

If I weren't already bound for Hell, that probably did the trick.

From Marc Stein's Power Rankings:
Wait a sec. Is it actually working? The Suns have rebounded from a scary six-game skid with six straight W's -- five on the road -- in which Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas logged 50 minutes of court time together and outscored the opposition by 35 points per 100 possessions in that span.

Len's per 36 minutes as a starter:

14.3 Pts, 11.7 Rbs, 4.3 Blks, 1.4 Stls

downside: 5.9 PFs

But you get 6, it's cool!

I know it's kind of a joke, but it's true. And I think it was 6.6 PFs last week.

I think Len's regular starter stats are impressive enough without having to project over a length of playing time he can't even play yet.

Yep, it's improving. I can't wait to see where Len is at in one to two years.

I think Len will eventually be able to consistently put up 16-18 points and double digit rebounds every night while blocking 2-3 shots as well to boot.

Centers get more fouls since they have to guard their guy and the other guy with the ball that blows past their guy going to the basket.
