Game Day: Wizards (31-15) @ Suns (26-20), Wed 1/27/15

Post by Superbone »

Time: 8:30 pm AZ (7:30 pm PT/10:30 pm ET)
Place: US Airways Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: ESPN

Can this team get through a game without a technical? We've really got no excuse not to win this game. Washington is coming off a game to the Lakers last night. Let's hope these Suns can get back on the wagon. Yeehaw!

Go Suns!!!

Hard to predict this one. Wiz are a very solid team in the East, and they're mostly back to full health. I really like the balance of their roster; everybody seems to know their roles. Looove their backcourt of Wall and Beal, and they have several decent big men in Gortat, Nene, Humphries, Gooden, Dejuan Blair, etc. Paul Pierce is a nice veteran presence though he's no long-term solution for them at SF. I think the Wiz are just about as good as anybody in the East. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the ECF.

Having said all of that, the Suns seem to play very well vs. Eastern teams, even the top ones. I think we can totally pull this one out if we play good perimeter D and contain Wall/Beal.

Wow! Suns off to a great start so far. Wish we would stop giving up offensive rebounds, though.

he actually a willing passer, it's the dribbling and the overthinking that gets him in trouble.

Figured we'd have more people in a game thread w/ a nationally televised game.

Humphries has always been a good rebounder, and I'm going back to his days in Toronto and New Jersey Nets.

Go Suns !

Denver beat New Orleans and the Knicks beat OKC (minus Durant), so Suns have a chance to get some distance from those teams in the standings.

Gotta win tonight baby !!!!!!

Wow, what a pathetic home crowd. The stands look literally almost completely empty. Sad.
