Game Day: Suns (38-36) @ Blazers (47-25), Mon 3/30/15

Place: Moda Center, Portland, OR
TV: FSAZ/NBATV

Free TJ. Now that we're all but mathematically eliminated with 8 games remaining, it's time to play our youth. It would also possibly give us the side benefit of moving up a pick or two in the draft.

Go Suns!!!

One spot, at most. We're currently at #14. We have a good chance to "catch" New Orleans for #13, but #12 is out of reach. We have a seven game lead on Utah, Indiana and Boston with nine games left.

Actually, we're currently #13, "ahead" of NO. But you're right, we're unlikely to "catch" up to the other losers.

Oops. It's New Orleans that's seven games ahead of Utah/Indiana/Boston. We're up by only 5.5 games. With eight games left, that's still enough to put #12 almost certainly out of reach. Even if we lose the rest of our games, we'd still need one of U/I/B to win six of nine and then win the coin flip.

You can just cross off the east - any team that does well in that group will get into the playoffs, and the team they displace will have a worse record than us.

It's actually kind of a relief that the Jazz have tailed off. Rudy was kicking so much ass I was worried I'd be kicking myself for passing on him for a decade. Alex is still a year younger and has room to grow, so I'm hoping we see more double-doubles next year, and I can still feel good about picking him.

I really hope the Suns brass feels the same way and we don't play Marcus 44 minutes while Archie and TJ Warren DNP on the bench in some misguided attempt to fight for the playoffs.

TJ, Archie and even Bullock need to get minutes. Let AJ Price go and see if there's a D-League big man out there with upside we can sign for the remainder of the season.

The only thing left to be determined this season is how quickly we can lock up this years "Phoenix Suns Memorial 13th (or 14th) Pick in the Draft."

The Blazer announcers couldn't even be bothered to look at the roster or the jerseys of our team. He thinks we are the Nuggets. Talking about us being coached by Hunt. :)

With the pointless games remaining, can we at least feed Len a little more to get him some more confidence in the post. I know that means less contested jumpers by the morri, but so be it

That sequence of turnovers on both sides was awful.

The one off Kaman's head was funny. The rest were awful.

Neither team had a foul shot in the first quarter. Clearly a pretty intense game!

At least Warren is trying to fix his mistakes by hustling.

Why the fuck is Price in? There is NOTHING to be gained by playing him.
Go Suns!

Probably something along the lines of having someone who could get us into our sets. Snooze

I don't understand why we didn't just give a youngster a run from our d league team to see if they could show something.
