Game Day: Suns (6-5) @ Nuggets (6-6), Fri 11/20/15

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET)
Place: Pepsi Center, Denver, CO
TV: FSAZ/NBALP

The Nuggets will be out for revenge after the shellacking we gave them last week. Let's see if Morris continues his sad sack routine. Nine of our next 11 are on the road. Let's see what we've got.

Go Suns!!!

Every time I see the name Jokic in print I mentally pronounce it "jock itch."

I think we shout start Warren and Leuer, and not just because Keef has been playing like shit. I think the pieces fit together better.

Keef doesn't really need a lot of creative point guard play setting him up. He can create his own shots in the half court.

With Warren and Leuer in the starting lineup, we give B+K scorers who can really play off of them. Then we bring last year's starting frontcourt, Tucker-Morris-Len, off the bench. Keef can be an offensive crutch for a second unit that doesn't have as many go-to options, while guys like Tucker and Booker spread the floor to give Keef room to operate.

If Keef's ego can handle it, I think it would be good for him. And if his ego can't handle it, fuck him.

Jokic and Nurkic? There has to be some nickname that works for that center duo.

Nuggets don't defend and Mudiay turns the ball a lot. I want PJ to beat up Gallo. This should be a win, regardless of the altitude, which by the way is being looked upon by the league. It seems they are want to do something about Denver's inherent home court advantage.

That is just stupid.

Odd. What can they conceivably do about it? Then what? Coors Field? Mile High? Just weird.

Chandler is prone to not putting up his arms. I like to see one arm againt the player and the other blocking the way to the rim.

I've seen Shaqting a fool on defense here. Co-owned brain fart.

Keef was practically begging to be taken out of the game from the start. Awful.

I don't like this unit on the floor right now. Archie-Warren-Markieff-Len-Price. Though they just subbed Tele for Markieff.

Nothing but layups and dunks from Denver right now. 9 point lead. Suns look like garbage.

Two possessions in a row we look for Telly in the post. Both times it goes badly.
