Game Day: Suns (12-24) @ Lakers (7-27), Sun 1/3/16

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:30 pm AZ (6:30 pm PT / 9:30 pm ET)
Place: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
TV: FSAZ/NBALP/TWC

From the NBA.com preview:

During a disastrous six-week stretch filled with low points, the Phoenix Suns may have hit rock bottom.

Losers of eight straight and coming off their worst defensive performance in 25 years, the crumbling Suns try to salvage the finale of a forgettable road trip Sunday night against a Los Angeles Lakers team riding a rare high.

Go Suns!!!

C'mon, guys. We can't lose to the hated Lakers. This one is for our pride. If we lose this, Hornacek has to get fired, right?

You realize the Lakers want to lose, right? If we beat them, we're giving them what they want.

Unfortunately for the Lakers, no Kobe tonight. Without his 17 FGA a game on 34% shooting, they're going to find it difficult to lose to a team as crappy as we've been playing.

As bad as the Lakers are, the Suns are only 4 games ahead of them.

Funny how much better the Lakers' ball movement and overall play is without you-know-who hogging the ball and the shots.

So Len is in and is apparently fine. So Coach just put him in the dog house last game after the first 3 minutes.

Apparently it is okay to throw the ball to the other team as many times as you want in a game just don't pick up too many fouls early.

We seriously throw better passes to the other team. They are much more crisp than anything the team throws at each other.

Teletovic is now just passing it straight to the opposing team. This team doesn't care.

1 pass, 1 shot unless Knight has the ball. Then it's 0 passes, 1 shot.

10-point 1st quarter.

That's encouraging.

Lakers on pace to win 100-40. Sounds about right.

Hornacek coaching like a dead man walking.
